Story
Bear is a 4 year old German Shepherd we adopted from a breeder, we have been his only home and our family loves him dearly. He is a purebred German Shepherd with AKC, American Kennel Club, paperwork. He is very loyal and loveable. He loves to be walked and he is in his true element in water or in snow. He has been raised around our 3 kids, 2 cats and 1 other dog. He has been an amazing pet but we have not been able to provide him the training and exercise he needs and deserves. The ideal home for Bear would be a couple or single person who has the time to train and exercise him, he is a very smart dog. One of our children got rough with Bear and hit him causing him to snip at our child. Since then our child has been afraid of him. Bear is a good dog and needs more attention than we can provide. He wants to learn and be trained.

Story
Don't let his name fool you, Bunny is actually a dog — a 6-year-old German Shepherd Dog to be precise! True to his adorable namesake, he does bound around the yard like a puppy when he's happy. Bunny is 85 pounds of gentleness, a good boy who loves attention and affection, and is equally playful and easy going. Bunny is crate trained and house trained, gets along well with dogs around his size, and is best suited for a home with older children. Cats are unknown. Bunny enjoys regular walks, time in the yard and going for rides in the car. He also loves to be brushed and will nuzzle his head into his people when he wants affection. If Bunny sounds like a good fit for you, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationOctober 2, 2023, 7:23 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I’m Mighty Mike, but my humans call me Mikey! I’m a very sweet 3 year old mixed breed, listed as a German Shepherd mix, with maybe a little Staffordshire Terrier, Norwegian Buhund and/or Malinois? It’s hard to say! My foster parents say I’m the biggest cuddle bug they’ve ever met. If there’s a lap to be sat on I want to sit in it! Aside from cuddling, some of my favorite things are going on walks, going for drives (I’m great in the car!), pup cups, treats, playing fetch and tug, and taking naps. As long as I’m by your side I’m a happy boy! I’m a really chill, well behaved guy once I’m in a routine. I’d do great in a home with someone who works from home as I like to be with my humans as much as possible. Although, I do really well in my crate while my humans are at work! I’m fully crate trained and house trained as long as I get regular potty breaks. I know basic commands but would love to work on some training to learn even more. I’m a bit of a jumping jelly bean but we’re working on that! I’m eager to please and pick up on training really quickly. I do well with other dogs as long as they’re not too rambunctious. I like to play some but mostly just want to do my own thing. I haven't been around kids, but my foster mom thinks I'd do best with kids 8 and up due to my jumping jelly bean ways. I've never met a kitty, so my foster mom says we'd have to meet to see what I think. Ready to be my new best friend and cuddle buddy? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Arna, and I'm a one year old female heeler/shepherd mix! I currently weigh 35lbs (my foster mom is working on making sure I fill out) and my projected weight likely won't exceed 45-50lbs. I have a beautiful fawn coat, elegant eyeliner, and a black spot on my tail. A few of the many great things about me:  - I'm friendly with everyone and very affectionate with my humans - I'm great in the car, so you can take me anywhere - I have lots of energy (I could play fetch for hours, I'm a fast runner!) but I also have an off switch. I'm happy to lounge while inside the house, or nap by your feet while you work - I'm very eager to please and listen for my name. Off-leash hiking will be in the cards for me once I'm trained on recall! - I'm crate trained and sleep through the night - Last but not least, I'm fully potty trained! While I'm curious by nature, I sometimes get surprised by things that are new to me, but my foster mom says I'm becoming a more confident dog every day. I'd love to go to a family who will continue to expose me to new things, and exercise me thoroughly every day. Another thing I am working on is leash training - I'm responding very well to my gentle leader (head harness) but will need my forever family to continue working with me on that. I would do well in most settings and am comfortable around dog-savvy kids, but I like to chase so a home without cats would be best for me. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an adoption application at:  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication - Or come see me at Petapalooza on Saturday! I can't wait to meet you!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2023, 4:02 pm
