He was found abandoned, hungry and thirsty, at a truck stop in North Carolina. Luckily he was rescued by his current foster family, and he is now on the hunt for his own forever home. Bears is just the perfect companion! He is affectionate with people and happy to see other pups on his walks. He walks well on leash and does not bark at others. He is smart too and knows some commands. Not to mention, he is a super traveler in the car, and we think he may have done some traveling in his past. He has also done well around children and other dogs. With his friendly and lovable nature, Bears would be a great fit for most any family. Could it be yours? Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
