Story
Chase' story begins during the pandemic; 2020 on a farm outside of State College, Pennsylvania. He is one of nine puppies and several breeds of live stock (cows, chickens, pigs, etc.) Chase' mom escaped one day and mated with the neighbors dogs down the road and returned pregnant. Out of all his siblings, Chase appeared to be the most mild mannered and inquisitive puppy of the bunch and stood out the most. My partner and I were immediately drawn to him and decided to adopt him after he followed us out of the barn. Chase from that day until now is still very sweet loving and affectionate and incredibly intelligent. He loves to meet new people (animals especially) and always greets with a big smile. For a dog his size, he finds no problem in cuddling and sitting in your lap to watch tv. My partner and I really regret putting him up for adoption, but due to the recent changes in our work schedules it would not be fair to have him home alone for several hours out of the day.

Story
My name is Milo Magoo and I am a 3 year old Golden Doodle with a birthday that is coming in the next few days… to turn 3 yrs. old.  I weigh 80 pounds and I am looking for an attentive and dog training family that will really shape and polish me to be the spectacular dog that I have the potential to be.  My current family really has no time to work with me to shape me in to a dog with great manners and emotional control.   I am bored in this home and I need physical and mental stimulation and fun challenges to do.  I am very happy, sweet, and very active with running and playing.  I am a male that is ALL BOY and if I had my wish I would say to adopt me if you have a girl dog in the family.   I would love to have a girlfriend for life!  When I am bored my favorite, yet dangerous, thing to do is eat socks.  So please watch that if you take me home.  It is totally out of boredom.   Critter Cavalry Rescue is tryng to change all this by placing me in the right home that they will review closely.   I am a silver tawny coloring and people just ohhhhh and ahhhhh over the color of my coat of  hair.  If you would like to adopt me please email right away at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Mention in the email where you live!!!   That helps so much too.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 29, 2024, 8:59 am

Story
Meet Chip!  He is a 3 year old Goldendoodle (Golden Retriever Standard Poodle mix).  Chip is a very handsome boy with a beautiful and unusual brown and white coat.  The handsome boy really stands out and he garners lots of attention.  He is a big boy at 80 lbs.  Don't let his size fool you!  He is a big love bug and might be the biggest lap dog ever.  If you are looking for a big love bug to share your life then you have found him in Chip.  He is a true lover of people and other dogs.  He gets along well with everyone but would do best with another dog of comparable size.  An energetic playmate will keep everyone happy.  Chip does use a gentle leader when he is walked as he needs some training in that department and at 80 lbs is quite to puller without it.  He has no problem wearing it and will sit nicely while you put it on him.  After that you are able to experience a wonderful walk that everyone enjoys.  (We do recommend training though to curtail the pulling.)  Chip is housebroken and crate trained.  He lost his original home and then came to Critter Cavalry when his second family decided 5 dogs were too many when they had to travel. Chip was the last one in so he became the first one out.  He has adjusted well in his foster home and has a big time with the two other large dogs there.  He is also good with the small dogs but is a little overwhelming to them.  Chip does not have a problem with the resident cats either.  Chip needs an active family that will make sure he gets all the exercise he needs.  Someone who runs, hikes or walks a lot would be ideal.  Chip will be fine with children but they should be 12 or older due to his size.  Chip is neutered, current on all shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.  Please consider the expense of grooming every 4 to 6 weeks when considering Chip.  To be considered for his forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APAPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Chip is currently in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)February 29, 2024, 8:59 am

Story
Bugsy is a handsome Golden Retriever and Poodle that has the softest fur and the most important part is that he has the softest and sweetest personality.   This 5 month old Golden Doodle is 39 pounds and just the most loving and easy boy you will ever meet.   You know all the rumors on how crazy the Doodles are?  Not Bugsy.   Critter Cavalry Rescue actually bought this boy from a backyard breeder who had the dirtiest place ever.  We did a “mercy purchase” to get he and his brother out of the most horrible conditions.  To our amazement these two boys were just CHILLED and happy and loving and easy.  We could not believe there was no emotional damage.  This boy is so much fun and so very handsome since we groomed him.   He is neutered and all vaccines given and microchipped with a full vet exam done.  This boy will be a 65 pound pup that a family will treasure and cherish for a very long time.  If you are interested in one of the Best Golden Doodles on the planet, please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and we will be very careful to review for a fenced yard, someone home quite a bit, maybe even older children for him to play with.  A dog playmate that is a good adult mentor would be exceptional as well but not necessary!   We have a Golden Doodle gold mine to offer with Bugsy.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 29, 2024, 8:59 am
