Story
I`m in a FOSTER HOME! If you`d like to meet me, please email my foster parent at kevinmwalker@gmail.com. Get ready to welcome Piccolo, the sweetest pup around, who loves people and pups! This super friendly lovebug gets along very well with other pups - he loves playing with and snoozing next to his foster brother and has been friendly with every dog he`s met when he`s out and about. He also loves people and gives enthusiastic wiggles when meeting humans of all sizes! Piccolo is playful and active - he loves toys and has a standing zoomie `appointment` after his walks - but he`s content to snuggle or nap on the couch the rest of the day. Piccolo would thrive with a person or family able to give him regular walks, playtime and snuggles! While he`s making progress with crate training, he`s also able to be left alone outside the crate without exhibiting any destructive tendencies. He also has excellent leash manners when walking.

I'm a young girl full of energy and curiosity, and I've got this great knack for making friends, whether they're two-legged or four. I've been told I'm sweet and friendly, and I think that's true - I love to wag my tail and give kisses. I'm also pretty smart. I know where to do my business and I'm always eager to learn new tricks. As a rescued pup, I've learned a lot about resilience and kindness, but what I'm really looking forward to is a home of my own. A place where I can share my love and loyalty with a family who'll cherish me as much as I'll cherish them. So, why should you adopt me? Because I promise to be your best friend, your loyal companion, your ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Why not fill out an application today; I can't wait to meet you! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. He loves Bananas, apple, carrots, and celery. Once a month he gets his chicken with green beans and chopped carrots and rice for lunch or dinner. He loves stuff Animals specially giraffes and Elephants. He likes long walks and short runs. He is now 5 years old. Story
Bear is a happy and friendly dog with a sweet smile.  He generally gets along well with dogs of all sizes and loves to play chase and wrestle in the yard.  He is respectful of smaller dogs and usually takes a low position to make them more comfortable. He is gentle with people and has done well with both adults and children alike.  The only issue with small children is his size, and he may lean against or push on a small child being unaware of his body size and space. Bear loves “sniffing walks” and to explore his neighborhood, but must remain on a leash at all times.  He understands the commands sit, down, wait, and “inside”. He is responsive to liver treats (his favorite) and is usually gentle when taking one.  Bear prefers to chew on soft toys. He sleeps on the couch at night and prefers a soft surface due to his past leg surgery.  In typical Pyrenees fashion, he can be protective of his home and yard.  He will bark to let others know that he is guarding his space but is fine with people entering the home.  He has never met a stranger and is very enthusiastic to make new friends.  He is crate trained and housed trained.  His adoption fee is $525 and he is neutered, Heartworm Negative, Microchipped and has his shots.  Large Breed Dog   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. He needs stimulation and would do great in a home with another dog to play with, but could also live as an only dog. he loves to play fetch and run around the yard. He has lived with a cat with no issues. He has lived with children also but he may be too jumpy/active for tiny ones. He is house trained and uses a crate when left alone. If not crated when alone he can get himself into trouble. It takes him a bit to settle in but does sleep through the night in the crate. He walks on leash but needs some training so as not to pull so much. He is young and eager to learn and loves to be around people.
