Serious inquiries only, I'm looking for the perfect forever home form my 2-year-old purebred Golden Retriever. Ideal home: - A family with large breed experience. - Home with a yard for him to run and play. - Someone home most of the day or able to arrange plenty of companionship. - Prepared for heavy shedding, regular brushing, grooming, and a good vacuum are a must. - Prepared for ongoing cost, vet care, grooming, preventatives, and possibly pet insurance - Open to occasional photo/video updates. - Commitment to keep him for life, no rehoming, transferring to another party. I will provide: - Full veterinary records - His crate, bed, toys, bowls, leash, collars, grooming tools, blanket and dog towels, etc. - Simparica flea/tick/heartworm prevention - enough doses to last until May 2026 ( retail value about $150) - Original AKC registration certificate. Please let me know your family, daily routine, dog experience when you apply, I just want the absolute best forever home for him!

We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here   Charlotte is Looking For:  Charlotte arrived in our care emaciated and severely matted. She has closed that chapter and is eagerly looking ahead to her new one, the one where she gets loving humans for sniffy walks and romps and world exploration. Making pup pals along the way would be great too. And - daily brushing down to the skin and regular professional grooming is a must. Mats hurt and she doesn't want to go through that again!   Most of all, she wants to be safe and loved, to know where she belongs. In exchange she promises loyal companionship for all her days.
