He was found as a stray, and it took a few folks to hoist this hefty canine into the car. But he was so cooperative, and he appreciated the help. Paras is a handsome, friendly doggie who asks so little. He seems to enjoy a gentle lifestyle. Loving pettings, leaning in when he gets love all bring him such joy. And his smile will light up a room! He is just a great and wonderful dog, and he would LOVE to meet you today.

Story
My name is Milo Magoo and I am a 3 year old Golden Doodle with a birthday that is coming in the next few days… to turn 3 yrs. old.  I weigh 80 pounds and I am looking for an attentive and dog training family that will really shape and polish me to be the spectacular dog that I have the potential to be.  My current family really has no time to work with me to shape me in to a dog with great manners and emotional control.   I am bored in this home and I need physical and mental stimulation and fun challenges to do.  I am very happy, sweet, and very active with running and playing.  I am a male that is ALL BOY and if I had my wish I would say to adopt me if you have a girl dog in the family.   I would love to have a girlfriend for life!  When I am bored my favorite, yet dangerous, thing to do is eat socks.  So please watch that if you take me home.  It is totally out of boredom.   Critter Cavalry Rescue is tryng to change all this by placing me in the right home that they will review closely.   I am a silver tawny coloring and people just ohhhhh and ahhhhh over the color of my coat of  hair.  If you would like to adopt me please email right away at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Mention in the email where you live!!!   That helps so much too.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 8, 2024, 6:01 pm

Story
Hello world!   I am so excited to tell you my story of being saved from a shelter that was under siege from parvo.  I survived and I was broken out of the shelter by Critter Cavalry Rescue after spending 4 weeks there and hoping to live through it all. My name is Bridgette and I am about 5 months old and weigh 28 pounds.  They say I have all sorts of breeds probably in my blood line.  They say I looks like a Golden Retriever mix or an Aussie mix or a little Chow or just the best of what God could create.  My foster mom just loves my confidence and my small size and stature but my BIG personality.  How big will I be when I grow up? Who knows except that my foster mom says I have enough cute and cuddles for any size.  I think I will be 40-45 pounds and the perfect size to fit in just about anywhere.  Since I have gotten out of the shelter, I am crate-trained, but still working on the housebreaking because I have NOT been out of the shelter for long. It means that I don’t mind being in my crate and usually keep it clean and dry. I might holler when you first put me in my crate but my foster mom says, don’t be fooled. I’ll settle down with a blanket and toy after a little while. I just have to get used to being without my brothers and sisters and get used to my new family.  You know things change all the time for us rescued dogs.   We go from so many situations while the shelters and the rescues are trying their best to get it all just right for us.  I sleep in my crate at night. I love mealtime! I also love to chase toys. If you get me settled on a blanket next to you, I love a good snuggle time. I’m ready. Come and get me! I am spayed and healthy and loveable and snuggable and I really need a place to belong.  Can you love pretty little me?  Bridgette the golden charm that will make your life so much better.  Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and ask for an application for me.  Tell them where you live please…city and state. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 8, 2024, 6:01 pm

Story
Barbie is a beautiful, young 1-2 year old, 40 pounds Golden Doodle girl that is oh so very sweet and loving. This girl is ready to go on long walks, jogs, hikes, or any energizing activity that will get her body moving and getting her nicely tired. .Her new family will need to be very active.and able to match her athletic needs and she will need a secure fence at her new home.   Barbie does great with both big and small dogs.  She would love to not be the only dog but a second dog that has a life long companion to zoom around the yard with.  From all that we have seen so far, she is housebroken and crate trained.  She knows sit and gives paw handshakes  is very respectful  in the house. She does get excited and has the typical jumping  up tendency to  greet her people.  That is being worked on.  I think children  that are over the age 8 yrs and up would be best.  This pretty girl has all the great capability to be the best dog you have ever owned . She oozes sweetness and love and would be a perfect pet for just about any situation…. A family or a single person or empty nest couple.   If you are interested in this beauty please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 8, 2024, 6:01 pm

Learn more, see our list of dogs needing foster, and apply, https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/foster-a-city-dog.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.

Story
Sunny is a pure golden retriever. He is not neutered yet. The reason for rehoming is because of busy schedule. I'm hoping to find someone with a lot of time and backyard to play with Sunny. He can play catch all day. He is very energetic.
