Story
https://foha.org/pet/harper2024/ **Hey there, I'm Harper! ** Whew, where do I start? I'm a bundle of enthusiasm and energy, ready to take on the world with my new family by my side! At about a year old, I've got boundless energy and a zest for life that's hard to contain. When my human friends are around, I can't help but show my excitement through playful jumps and a bit of enthusiastic mouthiness. Now, I'll admit I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to being a grown-up dog. But hey, I'm a quick study and eager to please! I'm hoping to find a patient and loving family who's committed to helping me with these lingering bits of puppy behavior. Consistency is key, right? The best part? I'm totally cool with our feline friends. Cats? No problem. I'm all about making friends with those purring felines! As a new addition to Friends of Homeless Animals, they're still getting to know me. So, keep an eye out for updates on how I am with other dogs and kiddos. For now, I'm just excited to find a family who'll give me lots of love, playtime, and maybe a few treats along the way. Ready to add a spark of energy and a whole lot of love to your life? Swing by and meet me-I promise you won't be disappointed!

Story
IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFIN DER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Rose - Rose is a 6-month-old puppy and was recently rescued from Texas. Rose and her brother were rescued from the streets, as many Texas dogs live this way. She was born into stray life and is now acclimating to being in a home. She is very shy but also very sweet and is coming out of her shell. She's doing an impeccable job with crate training and house training. Because she is so shy, she will be required to go to a home with another young and confident dog to help her build her own confidence. Dogs learn confidence from dogs, not people. Rose will need a buddy who is youthful and will be like a big sister or big brother. She is not a match for a senior dog. There are no exceptions to these requirements. We must do what is best for Rose! Rose is crate trained and is 99% potty trained too! Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. We do not know this litters parents therefore we are taking a guess of their breed simply from visual characteristics. Puppies require an adopter who is at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions! This puppy has received vet care from a veterinarian, is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. This puppy will need to be neutered at 6 months of age. The Adoption Fee for this puppy is $400.00. The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. **Please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application.**

IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Benji! Benji is about 3 years old and weighs about 45 lbs. We think Benji looks like a super mutt - lol. We have no idea of the breed mix, but could be a Retriever/Lab/Collie mix (Just a Guess). Benji is one happy dog! He is always "smiling" and happy to meet anyone who cares to meet him. Benji is great with other dogs, but we do not know about cats. We feel Benji would do fine with children 5 years and up. Benji does well with his house training and is ok crated for short periods of time. Benji is used to having someone at home a good portion of the day so he will need this in his forever home too. Benji is ready to go on adventures and then cuddle on the couch. He is an all-round great dog. Benji is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. The Adoption Fee is $375.00 ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Story
Sweet Tulip is looking for a new home. She previously lived with a family with younger kids. This environment turned out to be a bit too much for this old soul. She's thriving in her foster home (who has teenage kids). Tulip is timid when meeting new dogs but warms up, as long as she's given space. The same applies to meeting new people. She's cautious and will need a family who's able to be patient with this finicky girl. A quiet home with another quiet dog or cat would be perfect for Tulip. This girl has basic obedience down pat and is good on leash. Do you have a cat? That's great because Tulip loves them! She's a master snuggler and loves to play with her toys. She's fully housetrained, crate trained and very respectful within the home. She's a low energy gal who's ready to find her forever spot. Tulip is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system.
