Born on 5/19/2025 and weighing 36 lbs, Snowball is still very much a puppy with a bright future ahead. With her people, she is a total Velcro dog -- if you’re going somewhere, she’s right behind you. Once she feels safe, Snowball is an absolute love bug with the sweetest, most gentle disposition. She does well with other dogs and has been fine with cats in her foster home. Snowball loves her toys and is great at entertaining herself when she has something to do. She enjoys playtime and happily acts her age, but like all puppies, she’ll need continued guidance and structure to help her grow into her best self. She’s very food-motivated and learns quickly when treats are involved, making training a fun and rewarding experience. She is about 90% potty trained and doing very well, though a few accidents may happen as she adjusts to a brand-new environment and routine. Snowball also walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore. Snowball is shy at first, but with a short amount of time, she is your best friend. She needs a patient home who will give her some time to warm up. Snowball struggles with crate anxiety, so her ideal home would be with someone who is home more often than not and can avoid crating. She is extremely people-oriented and truly thrives when she can stay close to her person. Sweet Luna was left behind when her owners moved. She is crate & house trained, great with children 5+ (she may knock little ones over as she's still a clumsy youngster!), other dogs & cats. She even allowed her initial Good Samaritan to give her a haircut, as she was so matted! Luna is learning leash manners & showing good progress, but is still a puller & will need continued reinforcement &/or a securely fenced yard. Luna is 10 months old & 52 lbs. Doodles don't shed much & have thick, curly coats which need to be maintained with regular brushing & grooming to keep them healthy. This happy go lucky guy is Dennis. His owner could no longer take care of him and he arrived to the shelter on 2/7. Dennis is 8 months old and weighs 56 pounds. He is just darling and eager to please. He knows to sit when asked. He loves his play time. It is reported that he is good with children and house trained. Dennis sure would love to be your new best friend. Ask for ID# 16773 Run 50. He is neutered and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for heart worms. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
