Story
Collins is a 1.5 year old, 23 lb Miniature Goldendoodle with a heart of gold. While initially nervous, underneath his shy personality is a puppy just wanting to play! Collins is very smart and learns incredibly quickly. Routines are good for helping him learn exactly what is expected of him. He loves to play with toys and adores other dogs. His enthusiasm really shines when he gets excited to see you. He loves his human and enjoys spending time cuddled up on the couch with you. His crate is a safe space, and he will take shelter there if he's nervous or unsure about something. Collins is food motivated and eager to please. Collins can be hand-shy and more nervous around men. He can live with a man but will need someone patient that is willing to work with him on being completely comfortable. He is crate trained and has been doing very well with house training. He can walk on a leash but is still learning to feel secure, so a fenced-in yard is preferred. Since Collins gains confidence with other dogs, another dog is REQUIRED in his forever home. He will thrive best in a quieter home with no loud children. Collins is good with other dogs of all sizes and cats. To adopt him, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $400, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, and heartworm testing.

Story
Kai is a sweet, intelligent, and energetic 1.5 year old Goldendoodle weighing 46 pounds who is looking for an active forever family to call his own! Kai is full of personality, curiosity, and affection. He absolutely loves meeting new people and other dogs and truly thrives in an active environment where he can be part of the fun. Whether it’s hiking, neighborhood walks, exploring new places, outings with the family, or playtime in the yard, Kai is happiest when he’s included in the adventure. Kai walks very well on a leash and loves getting outside to explore the world around him. He enjoys car rides and continues to build confidence in the car through practice and positive experiences. One of Kai’s favorite things in life is playing with other dogs! He currently lives with five canine foster siblings and especially enjoys wrestling and playing with dogs that are close in size, age, and energy level. Because he is such a social and playful pup, we feel Kai would do best in a home with another playful dog companion who can match his enthusiasm and energy. This is REQUIRED. Kai is crate-trained, housetrained, and knows commands like “sit” and “shake.” He’s also working on improving his recall with his foster family. Being a young doodle, Kai still explores the world with his mouth at times and can become vocal when he wants attention or is excited to communicate with you. Kai also loves being close to his people and currently sleeps in bed with his foster family, where he settles in nicely and sleeps through the night. Kai does wonderfully with grooming, baths, brushing, and general maintenance. He is also a fantastic eater and enjoys mealtime. Since Kai is mostly a poodle, he is considered low shedding. However, his beautiful coat will require regular professional grooming and upkeep to prevent matting and keep him comfortable, especially during the warmer summer months. Kai would do best in a home with plenty of activity, structure, exercise, and engagement. He is affectionate, entertaining, athletic, and incredibly loving. He is the perfect companion for someone seeking an adventurous, loyal best friend. His foster parents feel he would do best with a fenced in yard to run in, so he REQUIRES ones. If you are looking for a smart, social, outdoorsy companion who will happily join you on hikes, walks, adventures, and cuddle time afterward, Kai may be your perfect match! His adoption fee is $450, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, and heartworm testing. Please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org

Story
Personality: He is awesome with children, we have 3 under 8yo. He is good with other dogs. Cats I'm not sure as we have never been around but he likes chasing squirrels in our backyard. Not leash trained. Crate trained and housebroken. He knows "sit down" and is very smart/trainable. Max is a sweet dog but with a severe adult PTSD. We are pretty sure he run from an abusive home and even after 2 years with us, he still fears adults he doesn't know. So taking him to the vet is an adventure. Grooming is impossible. We tried even with groomers specialized with anxious dogs and Max would not let them cut his hair. No history of biting or aggression, though he barks like crazy to adults he doesn't know but do not attack them when they come inside, instead he runs away. He would need someone patience that would be willing to train him well to trust other adults other than regular caregivers.
