Story
Hello! We got Chase over 3 years ago from a breeder in TN. He’s been a joy to have but has recently started to get aggressive, especially with bigger dogs and small children in our neighborhood. We have tried training him but he certainly needs more training than we can afford - and more attention than our new schedules allow. He could use a fenced in yard to run off some energy and/or another dog to play with. I feel like he’s bored here and it breaks my heart that we can’t give him more. I desperately want to find him a safe, happy home.

Story
Teddy is an incredibly loving companion! I’ve had him since birth, and he is now around 3 years old. He is very smart and clever; he has been house-trained since he was 6 months old and knows how to communicate his basic needs. Teddy is quite affectionate and can become very clingy once he warms up to you. He does not like being alone for long periods and is very active and playful. He loves to play with kids and thinks he’s still a puppy himself. I am looking to find him a great home or family due to my family's work and school schedule. It breaks my heart to let him go, but I want him to have the best life possible. We still consider him part of the family; we just want him to have a better living situation.

Story
Mookie is a 5-year-old golden doodle with a fluffball of a personality and a heart as warm as his golden curls. From the moment he wakes up (tail wagging like a metronome on caffeine) to the time he curls up for bedtime, Mookie is on a mission—to spread joy, love, and the occasional slobbery kiss. Mookie lives for belly rubs, car rides with the windows down, and making new friends—especially the two-legged, giggling kind. Children adore him for his gentle nature and goofy antics, like the way he tilts his head when you say “walk” or how he somehow always knows where the treat jar is. Other dogs love him too; he’s the kind of pup who turns any dog park visit into a full-on playdate. But Mookie’s dream home? A big backyard where he can run free, chase butterflies, and practice his self-taught zoomie routine (which, by the way, is an art form). He thrives in wide open spaces and would love a family that can match his energy and give him snuggles.

These pups are in Sandy Springs, Georgia too!

Story
Meet Pierce! Pierce and his siblings were found at a Metro Atlanta area fire house. They were within a fenced area when they were found, so it was obvious someone had intentionally dumped them - they couldn't have gotten in there on their own. After doing DNA on one of the siblings, we know that these guys are 50% poodle, but the other 50% is a whole mixture of a lot of breeds so these guys are NOT allergy friendly   Pierce is about 10 months old and around 65 lbs. He's great with other medium and large size dogs but he does have a bit of a prey drive, so he will not be a good fit for homes with cats or small dogs. His leaps of joy when he arrived at his foster home and realized he was safe for the first time were beyond priceless!   Pierce is looking for a home experienced with doodle type breeds and with another adult dog in the home. Story
Calling All Poodle Lovers Taye was an owner surrenders in rural Upson County GA along with a senior Standard Poodle, a poodle mix puppy (Tate's son perhaps?) and a GSD.  Tate is a 4-5 yr old purebred Standard Poodle. He was 51 lbs at his vet visit earlier in the week but this skinny boy should ideally be closer to 60 lbs. Tate is a calm and loving boy who is great with all dogs, no matter their size, and cats. As much as Tate likes other dogs, he really is a "people person" and would be just fine as an only fur child soaking up all the love from the humans in the home! He's looking for a tried and true poodle person to become his new BFF.  He’s truly just the most amazing guy!  Mister Tate isn’t quite ready to join his new family yet. He’s had most of his vetting but does still need to be neutered. We would absolutely love to have the perfect family ready and waiting for him though!  Interested in becoming a pre-approved adopter for Tate? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org PLEASE NOTE: Previous first hand ownership experience with purebred poodles is a STRICT requirement to adopt Tate. No exceptions will be allowed  ##2374766##
