Story
Got him as a puppy, will be 5yrs old Jan. 28th 2024. Would love if someone had the space for him to run around and play as he is very energetic still, very goofy (Doesn't understand how big he is sometimes) and curious. Can be skittish around new people/things. He weighs about 170lbs currently. Does okay on a leach, doesn't run or pull but very cautious about everything. Also doesn't mind cats, will sniff them very heavily though. He is not fixed so other dogs can definitely be a problem, but he lives with our female lab just fine.

Story
Zeus and friend Luna need a forever home. The two will do best together. Our family believes 2 different thing. 1 says dogs can live outside, the other says inside only. In short, the one saying inside is saying to rehome as we are moving to a smaller property with no trees and too hot for them outside.

Story
Meet Matilda. She is a big love bug weighing 72 lbs. Matilda is 10 months old and she loves cats, dogs, and people.  She is house trained.  She likes to snuggle and wants to play so badly. She needs a playmate and someone that can spend time with her and train her. She knows the basics but uses her huge feet to get attention.  She is a total love bug. Matilda is being rehomed through no fault of her own. Matilda would do best with older children.  Alcovy dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines, up to date on heart-worm preventative and flea preventative and micro-chipped.If interested in adoption, please complete an online application on Alcovy Pet Rescue's website at www.alcovypet.org. Story
Zeke is a 12-month-old, purebred Great Dane. He is crate-trained & house-trained with a regular schedule. Zeke is quite shy due to a lack of socialization in his formative months so the ideal home would be a calm, quiet household with people willing to let him take his time figuring out the world. Zeke loves the two female German Shepherds in his foster home & is an athletic chap but walks well on a leash. If you'd like to find out more about making this perfect pup a member of your family & to see whether (s)he would be a good fit in your home, please fill out our adoption form here: https://airtable.com/shrlL2pbqSGTRJiyc *If you live in rented accommodation, please familiarise yourself with the property management's pet policy. **No small children. Our adoption fee covers an initial comprehensive veterinary examination, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test, (for dogs > 12 months), parasite screening with treatment if needed, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm preventative medication, (for dogs > 3 months) plus any other medication or treatment needed up until the day they are adopted.

Story
Meet Xena, the gentle giant with a heart of gold! This sweet Great Dane is a true embodiment of love and loyalty. Xena's passion for life revolves around her beloved humans, finding pure joy in their company. She's an avid fan of leisurely walks, savoring every step of the journey, and her eyes light up at the mere mention of treats. For Xena, the ideal family would be one without cats or small dogs, as her size might be a bit overwhelming for them. She dreams of a spacious couch where she can snuggle up with her family while they watch TV, ensuring that her immense love and warmth envelop everyone fortunate enough to be in her presence. If you're ready for a lifetime of love and companionship, Xena is the perfect addition to your family!Xena's adoption fee is $300 which includes the spay or neuter, microchip, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test (if over 9 months old), and kept up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you're interested in adopting Xena, feel free to click on the link below to fill out an adoption application or you are welcome to make a Match Making appointment to come out and meet her. Story
Meet Bearon! This handsome hunk with beautiful eyes is a 3-year-old, 65-pound, Great Dane & Catahoula mix (we think). He’s house and crate-trained and walks well on a leash. He’s looking for his forever family and wants a home where he’s your only kiddo (human or furry). A little more about Bearon: He can be wary of strangers and does best with slow introductions. Once he knows you, he’s quite the love bug and very sweet. He gets along well with other dogs but would do best as an only pet due to his occasional tendency to guard his food or toys. He’s an energetic boy, and a fenced backyard would be very helpful in getting his energy out each day. Once he’s exercised, he’s ready for a good snooze on the couch with you.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.           April 23, 2024, 4:29 pm
