Story
Meet Bearon! This handsome hunk with the beautiful eyes is a 3 year old, 65 pound, Great Dane & Catahoula mix (we think). He’s house and crate trained, and walks well on leash. He’s looking for his forever family and would like a home where he’s your only kiddo (human or furry). A little more about Bearon: He can be wary of strangers and does best with slow introductions. Once he knows you, he’s quite the love bug and very sweet. He gets along well with other dogs but would do best as an only pet due to his occasional tendency to guard his food or toys. He’s an energetic boy and a fenced backyard would be very helpful in getting his energy out each day. Once he’s gotten his exercise, he’s ready for a good snooze on the couch with you. An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.           June 6, 2023, 8:35 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. PENDING:  Do Not Apply for a pet with PENDING in the name bar.  They have been matched with a home, but not adopted yet. NAME:  Rhodes BREED: Mixed Breed ADOPTION FEE: $150 BIO: Rhodes loves to swim and would love a family with pool or lake access.   He is very good with other dogs, ok with cats, wants to play with them and chases cats, and loves people.  He is need of a home with large breed experience.  He is most likely a Great Dane/American Bulldog mix.  He is crate trained, housetrained and would love to have another larger dog to play with, but he is good on his own also.  He is good with small dogs after controlled introductions. He is just very playful and does not know his size or strength.  He is very sweet and loving.   He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative and on Simparica.  An application must be submitted to be considered to adopt.  Please do not apply if you are not available to adopt the animal within a week of approval.  Our applications are located under the FORM/APPLICATION tab on our website www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com Please note, application processing time can normally run 3 to 5  business days.  We do not do a first applied, first to adopt process, but a best match for each individual animal.  Adoption fees are MONEY ORDER or CASH only.  Please check with your Building Manager/Landlord/Rental Management Company and /or HOA for breed and weight restriction, etc.  We do check. Our dogs at 6 months and older will additionally have been heartworm tested. Dogs that are 9 months and older will be spayed and neutered.  We will require that adopted pets be spayed/neutered by 9 months of age in our contracts.   Our pets are cared for in loving foster homes.  Please note the state in each pups name to see what state they are being fostered in. We do not have a facility, but will schedule a place and time for adoptions.  We are not available by phone until you have an approved application to adopt. We are all volunteers and time is very limited.         Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. ***PLEASE check the profile and our website for any questions you may have. Story
Kane is just a big baby...waiting on some pawrents to take him home and spoil him.  Kane was brought to us by his owner, where he spent a lot of time confined to a crate or on a runner.   He is now learning all about freedom and that people can be nice and gentle to him.  Kane loves other friendly dogs and would love a friend to romp and play with.  He is doing great on his obedience training and getting confidence with his leash walking.    Due to his history we are not placing Kane in a home with children, as we feel he needs all the attention and training at this point in this life.    An owner with breed experience is strongly preferred.   Kane turns one year old May 30, we would love him to celebrate with his own family!  ##1703347##

Needs experienced adopter,
Story
Pepper can not be with other female dogs, and she can not be with small breeds or cats. She loves my male dogs, but she is aggressive with my older female Mastiff. We have worked tirelessly at this issue, and she just doesn't like other females. She is great with kids, and is one of the most loving Danes that we've had in over 20 years of owning the breed. She is high energy, and will need a fenced yard, but she is very intelligent and easy to train. She turned 1-year on 4/1/23.

Story
Meet Ozzy... He is a 120lb Brindlequin Great Dane. He is about 2 years old and is up-to-date on shots, vet care, etc. He is playful, energetic and loves to lean on you!! He is neutered as well. He's such a good and loveable BIG boy. He has a slight toy aggression where if you try to take it from him he will growl at you so I prefer him to be rehomed with someone who is willing to work with these types of insecurities. He will be an amazing best friend with the right training.
