Story
Zeus and friend Luna need a forever home. The two will do best together. Our family believes 2 different thing. 1 says dogs can live outside, the other says inside only. In short, the one saying inside is saying to rehome as we are moving to a smaller property with no trees and too hot for them outside.

Story
Zeke is a 12-month-old, purebred Great Dane. He is crate-trained & house-trained with a regular schedule. Zeke is quite shy due to a lack of socialization in his formative months so the ideal home would be a calm, quiet household with people willing to let him take his time figuring out the world. Zeke loves the two female German Shepherds in his foster home & is an athletic chap but walks well on a leash. If you'd like to find out more about making this perfect pup a member of your family & to see whether (s)he would be a good fit in your home, please fill out our adoption form here: https://airtable.com/shrlL2pbqSGTRJiyc *If you live in rented accommodation, please familiarise yourself with the property management's pet policy. **No small children. Our adoption fee covers an initial comprehensive veterinary examination, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test, (for dogs > 12 months), parasite screening with treatment if needed, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm preventative medication, (for dogs > 3 months) plus any other medication or treatment needed up until the day they are adopted.

Story
Meet Bearon! This handsome hunk with beautiful eyes is a 3-year-old, 65-pound, Great Dane & Catahoula mix (we think). He’s house and crate-trained and walks well on a leash. He’s looking for his forever family and wants a home where he’s your only kiddo (human or furry). A little more about Bearon: He can be wary of strangers and does best with slow introductions. Once he knows you, he’s quite the love bug and very sweet. He gets along well with other dogs but would do best as an only pet due to his occasional tendency to guard his food or toys. He’s an energetic boy, and a fenced backyard would be very helpful in getting his energy out each day. Once he’s exercised, he’s ready for a good snooze on the couch with you.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.           May 7, 2024, 5:18 pm

Story
Hello all, I am Scoobie! I am a 7 year old, beautiful, black, Great Dane and sometimes I even act like I know it! My fommy always calls me hansum, she makes me blush! And if you need to smile, well look no further than me! As you will see, I have a flipped up ear at times! It’s like a comb over ear! It brings a smile to everyone’s face! I’m a big boy at about 120 pounds, and my personality is BIG TOO! So here are the things a hooman needs to know about me.    I would do best being the only pup as I like my things. I don’t share the best with humans or other animals, so I need someone who can keep helping me be the best me like my foster parents do! They are patient with me, work with me, and when I do good things, they give me treats!! So I love doing good things!   I’m very food motivated so I will pretty much do anything you want me to do if you have a treat in your hand! I am also on medication daily that helps me be a better me and will need that medication indefinitely. I am a big couch potato, but I also sleep well in a crate. I am potty trained too! Woohoo!   I am a very strong boy, I don’t mean to be, but I am so I do need someone strong enough to handle my big boy size and strength. My foster mom’s requirements for being my new family are:   Must have Great Dane experience No children  No other pets Patient and willing to continue the training work.  Understands that I will forever be on medication that helps calm me and it works!      If you think you would love to be my new family and would love to give me the home I need to live out my golden years, please let Angels Among Us know!     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           May 7, 2024, 5:18 pm

Story
Got him as a puppy, will be 5yrs old Jan. 28th 2024. Would love if someone had the space for him to run around and play as he is very energetic still, very goofy (Doesn't understand how big he is sometimes) and curious. Can be skittish around new people/things. He weighs about 170lbs currently. Does okay on a leach, doesn't run or pull but very cautious about everything. Also doesn't mind cats, will sniff them very heavily though. He is not fixed so other dogs can definitely be a problem, but he lives with our female lab just fine.

Story
Meet Xena, the gentle giant with a heart of gold! This sweet Great Dane is a true embodiment of love and loyalty. Xena's passion for life revolves around her beloved humans, finding pure joy in their company. She's an avid fan of leisurely walks, savoring every step of the journey, and her eyes light up at the mere mention of treats. For Xena, the ideal family would be one without cats or small dogs, as her size might be a bit overwhelming for them. She dreams of a spacious couch where she can snuggle up with her family while they watch TV, ensuring that her immense love and warmth envelop everyone fortunate enough to be in her presence. If you're ready for a lifetime of love and companionship, Xena is the perfect addition to your family!Xena's adoption fee is $300 which includes the spay or neuter, microchip, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test (if over 9 months old), and kept up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Story
This adventurous pup has a zest for life that knows no bounds. Whether exploring the great outdoors on his daily walks or indulging in his favorite snacks, Beethoven's enthusiasm is infectious. His love for treats is matched only by his love for human companionship, and he thrives on the attention and affection of his devoted friends. One of Beethoven's endearing quirks is his blissful ignorance of his own size. Though he may tower over some of his canine counterparts, Beethoven sees himself as a lap dog at heart, eager to snuggle up with anyone willing to share a cozy spot.Unfortunately, Beethoven came to the Forsyth County Pet Resource Center heartworm positive, but the good news is that we will provide the necessary treatment for him at no additional cost to you! While Beethoven is undergoing heartworm treatment, he will be placed in our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program so that you can start bonding with your new pet and give him a calm place to get better! Heartworm treatment is very safe, and the success rate is high, the Pet Resource Center prefers dogs like Beethoven to recover in a home with an adopter rather than in a shelter. If you want to learn more about Beethoven and how the FTA process works, please stop by or call us at 678-965-7185!
