Story
Hello there! Thank you for coming to visit. My name is Liadan. It's an Irish name meaning Gray Maiden. See what I did there! I'm not really sure how I wound up in a shelter, because who could resist me. Right? But I did. Thank goodness MVPC came to my rescue. I am a silly, happy, playful girl who loves everyone I meet. I am a huge fan of chew toys, and I enjoy my stuffies as well. I also have a blast playing with my foster siblings, and I'm learning to not be too rough. Apparently, I'm much bigger than I think I am. In addition, I've also been learning how to be a good dog, because I was not taught much before coming to MVPC. I'm picking things up quickly and love to please my hoomans. I also enjoy a good cookie if you want to reward me for being awesome. When all the playing and learning is done, I am thrilled to do some snuggling. I make a great lap dog, although my foster parents may disagree. Again with that size thing. I am currently looking for a lifetime relationship with a loving family that understands a big girl like me. A family who is willing to play and snuggle but will also commit to helping me continue to learn to be the bestest girl ever. If you're interested, please let my friends here at the Crew know. They will be happy to hook us up. Thanks for stopping by, and reading this far. Love ya, Liadan ADOPTION FEE: $450 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: MUST have breed experience BIRTHDAY: 05/17/2024 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes, preferred but can be solo CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes - 8 years and older - I'm a big girl so I would do best with older kiddo's I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $450 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. IF YOU ARE GOING ON VACATION OR ARE NOT YET READY TO PROCEED PLEASE APPLY WHEN YOU ARE.*** INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER INQUIRY/CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. Story
We are rehoming our 4 year old female Great Dane. She is a super sweet girl but since we have brought our baby home she has become very jealous, lost weight and isnt coping well with the change. We want her to find a home that she is happy and can thrive in. She does well with other male dogs and older children. She is a couch potato and cuddle bug. She is not spayed but has never been bred. She is tall and lean. She is not papered. We just want her to find the best home possible. She eats Victor Dog Food and we will be sending a gallon size bag with her to her new home. We will also be sending her favorite blanket and toys with her. Feel free to reach out with any questions

Story
Hi my name is Rocco and I showed up randomly on my current foster parents doorstep. They saved me from a lonely outdoor life of neglect and are helping me get back to good health. I am 10 years old and know how to sit and lay down. I am also potty trained and a good listener. I’d love to stay with my foster parents but they have other dogs that don’t seem to like me so they have to confine me to one room. It’s a nice room though, I have a whole bed and they let me sleep with them but I’d much rather be able to explore all of my surroundings. Would you like to be my new best friend?
