Ozzy came to us from a coworker. They were unable to afford to care for him any longer. He had behavioral problems with another male dane in their house and the coworker was ready to put him down. Ozzy is about 4 years old and is middle aged for a dane. He has been overly dominant towards our pack especially the males. The only one who could handle him was our female Great Pyrenees. Ozzy will be good fit in an only dog household. He has a high prey drive and a lot of energy for a dane. He will need to be muzzled for vet visits as he is less trusting of new people and settings, so muzzle training is a must. He is getting the hang of walking on a leash with a gentle leader to assist though he mostly hops/gallops around our back field. He knows to sit, and wait for meal time, we are working to get better recall for him off leash. He will come with a muzzle, gentle leader, food and water bowls, as well as a bag of food and an XXL kennel. He is a good dog but not a good fit for our pack.

At 2yrs and 70lbs I’m already the total package: housebroken, crate trained, and doggy-door certified. I love people of all sizes, though my big, playful energy is better matched with bigger kids and medium-to-large doggie siblings. Small pups might find my enthusiasm a little…extra. But don’t worry—I’m a gentleman and happily back off if another dog says “nah, bro.” (Even Chad’s grumpy old pit bull approves.) My hobbies? Oh, just the usual—water splashing, toy stealing (ahem…sharing), and epic backyard zoomies. I walk like a dream on leash and would love to be your partner for strolls, hikes, or jogs. Quinn is super sweet but very skittish. He needs time to learn to trust. He is NOT good with small animals or kids. He may do ok with a larger non dominant dog but that will just depend on how he feels about them. He is housebroke, crate trained, and answers to his name. He will need a lot of on going socialization. Along with his socialization needs, Quinn has some undiagnosed health issues. It is thought to be a form of myopathy at this time. Unfortunately, there isn't a one and done test that will give a true diagnosis. He will need to stay on a specific food, and most likely will require life long daily medications. If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. Meet Misty! She's a smart lady who is smart as a whip! She's crate trained, mastered many commands (sit, down, off, mat, enough, go to your room, here, all done- more than most kids :). She loves to run, play fetch and be wherever you are! She's a year and a half old, and was lucky enough to have professional training donated to help her find her forever home. Whoever adopts her will receive at least one free hand off session from her trainer to help her transition go perfectly! Her ideal family would be somewhat active (she needs to run around a yard at least a few times per day). She gets along well with other dogs, but calmer dogs are best. Misty loves to play, but she can get very excited if the other dog is too energetic! She would do well with older children. Younger children and cats would require a lot of supervision. Her trainer thinks she would be a great agility dog, but she is smart enough to do anything you want to train her to do! She will require some active parenting to teach her the rules of your house, because she is so smart, she may try to make her own activities if nothing fun is provided! She's potty trained now (we had some overnight accidents until she started going in her crate at night). She's a great dog with a good head on her shoulders, and she wants to know if you are the one for her! $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

He is a great dog and we are in a situation that we can not keep him as we are having to stay with family until we find a place and he doesn’t do well with cats and they have cats so we have no choice but to rehome him. It is not his fault and he deserves a loving home with a place to play! I never thought I’d find myself in a situation like this and having to find my own dog a home but here we are and it sucks! Please help!
