Story
Knox is a sweet 1yo Great Dane who loves to be around his home and his people. He is gentle but playful at times and loves his toys and a long nap. Knox is a goofy lap dog who loves his food and can't wait to get in the car and go for a ride! He also loves the shower and will try his best to join you in every one! He is housetrained and is great on his own, though a shoe might go missing if he needs something to comfort him while you're away (just to hold while you're gone!) He loves a good zoomie, but for the most part is happy sleeping at home in his bed.Now for the tough part.Knox has predatory drift - a phenomenon where a dog's playful behavior suddenly escalates into an instinctual prey drive. This drive has resulted in fatal aggression w/ a large dog and a near-fatal aggression with another dog. He is not dog reactive and actually enjoys other dogs but is triggered by high arousal, a sudden yelp, or a change in movement. For this reason he CANNOT go to a home with pets or kids.

Story
HI, I'm Huckleberry but I mostly go by Huck. I'm a 10 year old Great Dane/Lab mix. I've been indoors most of my life, but here lately I've had to stay outdoors in a yard where I'm not doing so well in the heat. My mom passed pretty suddenly from cancer, so now I'm looking for a new home since none of her family can keep me. I'm potty trained, crate trained, and GREAT with kids! While I do love to lounge around, I've spent a lot of time with my playful sister (Gypsie-Brindle Mix) who makes sure to keep me active and playful

Story
Teddy Bear is a gentle giant with striking two colored eyes and an even bigger heart. This sweet boy is a total velcro dog who wants nothing more than to be by your side, whether that’s following you around the house, joining you on walks, or curling up for cuddles. He gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids, and has a goofy personality that shines once he feels safe. Teddy is still building confidence and working on house training, so he’ll do best with a patient family willing to help him continue learning. His foster says it best: his eyes may draw you in, but his loving heart will make you stay. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
Phoenix is a stunning female Great Dane with a gentle spirit and a resilient heart. She’s the kind of girl who carries a quiet strength—steady, observant, and always ready to connect once she feels safe and secure in her surroundings. Phoenix currently has a small growth that will need to be removed and a slight cherry eye, both of which are manageable and being addressed as part of her continued care. She is also underweight and will need a family committed to helping her gain healthy condition through proper nutrition and patience. Despite her needs, Phoenix’s temperament shines through beautifully. She gets along wonderfully with all dogs and enjoys calm, respectful canine companionship. She is social in a balanced way—not overly pushy, just content to be part of the pack and share space peacefully. Because of her curiosity and active nature, Phoenix requires a minimum 6-foot securely fenced yard. She is still learning boundaries and will do best in a home where safety and structure are a priority, especially during her adjustment period. Phoenix is ready for a fresh start—one filled with stability, care, and the kind of love that helps her truly thrive. Perfect Home for Phoenix Secure 6-foot fenced yard (required) Patient adopters willing to help her gain healthy weight Can live with other dogs of any size with proper introductions A calm or moderately active environment where she can settle in and build confidence People who understand that she’s still a work in progress and worth every bit of effort Phoenix is not broken—she’s simply unfinished. With the right home, she’s going to bloom into a beautiful, confident girl who finally gets to feel safe, strong, and loved. Please spread the word to help Phoenix find her forever family! Share this post, tag your friends, and let's make sure she finds a family that will play with and give her all the love she deserves.
