Story
Animal Profile: Meet Cliff! We were contacted by our rescue partner, Saving Shelters Strays in Texas to bring Cliff to Washington for the opportunity to find his furever home. Cliff is estimated to be 2 years old, 80lbs and a Great Dane mix. He is big, goofy and lover of all dogs. He is on the soft side, likes meeting new people slow but he is not scared. When brought our in public, he did very well and was excited to meet new people. He met cats at the clinic and was friendly. Cliff will be joining us on Friday, June 13th and we will share more from his foster as we get to know him. Foster Update:  Cliff is a big, silly goofball and would love a family who wants to play and is able to handle a pup of his size. He has a moderate energy level, loves his walks, and enjoys a few per day as we don't have a fenced in yard for him to run around in. He is great in his crate, is quick to settle down and relax, and will nap in his crate for long stretches during the day. When outside of the crate Cliff typically wants to play with toys and follow us around if we aren't sitting down working/eating/watching TV.  He is not very vocal, but occasionally whines to get our attention when he wants to play. Cliff has met a couple of our neighbors and has been very friendly with them. While out on walks he does become quite alert when we see other people/dogs walking nearby and may bark, but we think it's most likely that he wants to play based on his demeanor. We are working on Cliff’s leash manners as he can get excited when he sees small critters, dogs, and people and will try to pull towards them. Given his size and strength he will benefit from an experienced handler and some ongoing training in this area. Cliff is a quick learner and quite food motivated; so far we've taught him "sit" and "down" and will continue to work with him on basic commands. He is friendly with other dogs and we think he’d love another dog to play with, but would be fine as an only dog with an active family as well. Cliff does well in the car and would love to join you on outdoor PNW adventures! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Texas and joined us from Saving Our Strays rescue partner and transported via Byrdie Expres. This dog will be available for adoption in Seattle once evaluated.June 24, 2025, 12:20 pm

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Meet Minnie – A Graceful Soul Ready for Peace and Love 🖤🐾 At 6 years old and around 95 pounds (could still use a few extra groceries!), Minnie is a stunning Great Dane with a heart as big as her paws. She was found abandoned and skin-and-bones in a San Antonio park, surviving on her own for far too long. It took patience — and some lunch meat — to slowly gain her trust, but she never showed a single mean bone in her body. Minnie is a gentle observer of the world. She doesn't seek attention but finds comfort in her cozy bed and simply being near her people. While still a little flinchy with touch, she’s made great progress and is learning that love comes with a soft hand and kind voice. 🩺 Minnie has a few benign lumps (vet checked and no treatment needed) and of course being out by herself she had tested positive for Heartworms. She has completed her heartworm treatment and should test negative at her six month retest. Currently at a neighboring rescue, Minnie is one of the lucky pups we’re helping through our partnership to save more lives. If she sounds like your perfect match, we’ll pull her into Hay Dude Rescue to complete the adoption process. 🐾 Minnie is great with other dogs and even cats, but would likely do best in a quiet home without children, or with older, respectful kids who understand that she may need space at times. Minnie doesn’t need much — just a soft place to land, a gentle hand, and the chance to feel safe again. Apply to add this beautiful soul to your family at haydudequine.org

Story
Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! This 6-month-old Great Dane/Boxer mix is a playful, water-loving pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Breaker is happiest when he's splashing around in the water, chasing toys, or romping around the yard. With the goofy energy of a Boxer and the gentle nature of a Dane, he’s the perfect mix of fun and affection. He’s great with other dogs, loves being around people, and is always up for an adventure, especially if it involves a swim. Breaker is doing well with crate training and learning his puppy manners, especially when treats are involved. He’d thrive in an active home with space to play and maybe even a doggy sibling to share his adventures with. If you're looking for a loyal, silly, and splash-happy companion, Breaker is your guy! This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. Story
Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Jinx to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 19-month-old Great Dane/Greyhound is our best guess. He is very sweet. He weighs about 70 pounds but is tall and lean. He loves men and is friendly with strangers. He knows sit, good on a leash and good in a kennel. His owner went into hospice and can no longer care for Jinx. Jinx is looking for his forever home. This is a fantastic dog and some lucky family will have a great companion. He appears to be potty trained. He goes in his outside kennel. He doesn’t jump up and is decent on a leash. He knows his name and is very attentive. He loves men naturally but accepts all people. He isn’t too wiggly so he would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. This is a larger dog but he has a wonderful temperament so you will not have to worry with other people or anything. He would be fine going to any social place and strangers petting him without permission. He is lower shedding and not over the top. He is good with other dogs and would be a great companion if you liked to walk, hike or jog. He is an amazing dog and we are fortunate to be looking for his forever home. He is neutered, healthy and ready for his forever home. Anyone who likes a large dog will love this boy. He is not timid like the great danes but is long and larger like one. He will be a head turner anywhere you take him. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Please fill out an adoption application found at bdrescue.org Ollie - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Ollie (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I is a sweet, adorable, and playful 3 month-old puppy that is super energetic and has that cuteness overload that will win over your heart with my charming and sometimes mischievous personality. I is ready to start this next chapter in life with lots of puppy kisses, tail wags and playtime with my new family!! Are you ready for some daily LOL's? I'm just the lil guy to give them to you!!! I loves to run around and play with toys and the other foster pups here. I has a lot of energy and playfulness that makes me the perfect companion for lots of adventures. I would be a pawsomely perfect addition to your family as a 'sibling' or hogging all the attention as your one and only. I do great with people both tall and small but do remember I have those sharp lil teeth and nails. I get on great with my 'siblings' and although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet, at my tender age if introduced properly I should do fine with them too! I'm a very easy going go with the flow type of fella that will find my own entertainment when you get tired ;) I would do well in a home with an active family that is looking for a tag-a-long with whatever you might be doing...anything from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting! I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness on a family and be that lil heartbeat at your feet, so if you think I'd be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application!
