Story
Animal Profile: Scooby is an estimated 8-month-old 52 lb neutered male Dane mix who was taken in as a stray to the very crowded San Bernadino city shelter, adopted and returned a month or so later because the resident chihuahua was not accepting of the big new puppy.  Foster Update: Scooby is such a love! He craves attention, but not annoyingly so. He has been a doll meeting new people and dogs in the home. He seems to prefer larger dogs to smaller dogs who bark at him. Little yappy dogs make him anxious (and who can blame him?). Scooby was listed as a Dane but we could see some Sharpei in hm; he's not going to be a giant dog -- perhaps around 70 lbs when full grown. Scooby is energetic when outside and loves to play chase and wrestle with willing canine companions. He has a confident personality and takes cues from other dogs well. When he's inside he has a great "chill setting" and loves to share the giant dog bed with his Dane buddy. He is doing great in the crate, settling with only mild complaints, and is fully potty trained. Scooby is great on leash: he does not pull and walks more or less by your side. Scooby has an adorable squeaky puppy voice and will follow the resident dogs in shrieking at squirrels running along the fence. His ideal adopter would likely have a single family residence with a fenced yard for romping and a canine friend or two to play with.  Scooby is full of joy and love; everyone who has met him falls in love with him.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from San Bernardino city shelter and arriving to Seattle area foster care on 6/16/24. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. July 26, 2024, 1:04 pm

Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Luci - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Luci is in a neighboring rescue that is having a family emergency. If you are interested in adopting her, we will bring her into Hay Dude to complete the adoption. Let me introduce myself with a big hello from ME, Luci. I'm a wanting a family, one that I can call my very own! I'm still a youngster at around a year and a half. I have a moderate energy level that will require daily walks and playtime. I get on great with people both tall and small and I also do great with other dogs. Of course just because of my size and playfulness, I would do better in a home with another bigger pup for playtimes. And I love water, be it from a hose, pool, lake or river. If there's water, I want in!! I've got that pure sweetness about me that spills over with every look, tail wag and lean! I'm already house trained so we can get to the fun stuff right away!! I come in at 120lbs but that is a 120lbs of pure love, 120lbs of making you melt with just a look, 120lbs of a heartbeat at your feet!!! Are you in search of a BFF to have your back? A sidekick to tag along on your daily going ons? A cohort for all your adventures? Oh my, you don't have to look any further, I'm that gal looking to be YOUR gal!!! Story
Hello, my name is Kyra! I’m an 8 year old Great Dane weighing about 100 pounds. I know I’m a little older, but don’t let that fool you, I’m full of energy, healthy, and love to go on walks. I’m very friendly with everyone, cats, kids, dogs, and even a pig! I know sit, speak, shake, and stay. I walk great on a leash. I am fully potty trained and will tell you when I need to go. I prefer to have my own space when I eat, and I don't like sharing my kennel as it's my safe space. Overall I'm the best girl though and I’d love a home and family to spend the rest of my golden years with.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.July 26, 2024, 4:53 am

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Give a warm welcome to Sienna! She is a 2-year-old, 84lb Great Dane/Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Sienna is a super sweet dog that walks well on leash and has beautiful markings. She is calm, very smart, learns quickly, and has done well with other dogs. Sienna is still gaining a little bit of confidence but overall is down for any adventure. She loves to go on walks with her person and is very attentive to her handler. Sienna would love a home that takes her on daily walks and adventures. She would make a great additional dog in a home or she would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. We don’t know what happened to her ear as half of one is missing and was that way when she came to us, but it adds that much more character to her! She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
Molly was found as a stray in San Antonio. She is now in a Seattle area foster home with a mom, dad, 2 teens and a senior dog. ***she is able to catch a ride up north if her forever home is found in Canada:) Molly looks like a baby giraffe! She's tall and lean. We think she is part great dane with maybe some lab and pitbull mixed in:) She LOVES people, including kids. She seems to be afraid of dogs at first, especially obnoxious ones. She's slow to warm to large dogs, however, she's becoming more confident every day in foster care. She loves the small dog in her foster home although he's not impressed with her. She takes it all in stride and will seek him out to cuddle. She does great meeting people out and about and enjoys going on errands. Her foster mom has taken her to training and she has great obedience. She's great at place! Molly is motivated by food and even likes broccoli and cauliflower...check out her YouTube link for proof!! Molly is about 18 months old, is potty trained and crate trained. She walks well on leash and loves to hang out with her people. Her adoption fee is $550 and includes her transport, vaccinations, spay and microchip. 100% of the fee goes to her care. Please contact Karin at karinkeith@hotmail.com for more information.
