FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Give a warm welcome to Sienna! She is a 2-year-old, 84lb Great Dane/Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Sienna is a super sweet dog that walks well on leash and has beautiful markings. She is calm, very smart, learns quickly, and has done well with other dogs. Sienna is still gaining a little bit of confidence but overall is down for any adventure. She loves to go on walks with her person and is very attentive to her handler. Sienna would love a home that takes her on daily walks and adventures. She would make a great additional dog in a home or she would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. We don’t know what happened to her ear as half of one is missing and was that way when she came to us, but it adds that much more character to her! She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.

*SURRENDER APPT SCHEDULED FOR 5/25* Maudie just turned 4 in February. She is very well behaved and is allowed free roam of the house when we’re out and about! She could use some advanced training and a brush up on some skills, such as leash walking. We moved to a rural area and she is out of practice. She was raised with another dog, gets along with our neighbor dogs, and is good with kids. Due to her size and general energy, I’d recommend bigger kids. Her tail is like a WHIP when she gets excited. She is confident, sassy, snuggly, and will fetch until she drops! She also loves bubbles and laser pointers, indestructible stuffy toys, and her jolly ball. Due to a variety of circumstances, rehoming her is the best option for all of us. She needs more attention and care than we can give now.

Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Welcome Jinx to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 19-month-old Great Dane/Greyhound is our best guess. He is very sweet. He weighs about 70 pounds but is tall and lean. He loves men and is friendly with strangers. He knows sit, good on a leash and good in a kennel. His owner went into hospice and can no longer care for Jinx. Jinx is looking for his forever home. This is a fantastic dog and some lucky family will have a great companion. He appears to be potty trained. He goes in his outside kennel. He doesn’t jump up and is decent on a leash. He knows his name and is very attentive. He loves men naturally but accepts all people. He isn’t too wiggly so he would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. This is a larger dog but he has a wonderful temperament so you will not have to worry with other people or anything. He would be fine going to any social place and strangers petting him without permission. He is lower shedding and not over the top. He is good with other dogs and would be a great companion if you liked to walk, hike or jog. He is an amazing dog and we are fortunate to be looking for his forever home. He is neutered, healthy and ready for his forever home. Anyone who likes a large dog will love this boy. He is not timid like the great danes but is long and larger like one. He will be a head turner anywhere you take him.
