FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Give a warm welcome to Sienna! She is a 2-year-old, 84lb Great Dane/Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Sienna is a super sweet dog that walks well on leash and has beautiful markings. She is calm, very smart, learns quickly, and has done well with other dogs. Sienna is still gaining a little bit of confidence but overall is down for any adventure. She loves to go on walks with her person and is very attentive to her handler. Sienna would love a home that takes her on daily walks and adventures. She would make a great additional dog in a home or she would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. We don’t know what happened to her ear as half of one is missing and was that way when she came to us, but it adds that much more character to her! She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.

Animal Profile: Tippy is an estimated 12-month-old petite spayed female Dane (possibly a mix) who was rescued as a stray in Texas and transferred to Seattle for adoption. She is a doll baby with people including children and other dogs in her foster home, and showed no interest in cats on her "cat test". She mostly had lived outside prior to transport, which was scary for her, but we will share more info as she settles into foster care. Foster Update: Tippy is a total love bug and she is learning the ropes of being an inside well-loved dog in foster care with the help of her big Dane siblings. She absolutely needs a confident canine companion in her forever home to help with her continued transformation. Tippy is gangly and growing into her body, and for that reason wouldn't be a good fit for small children (though she does not seem alarmed by them). She is super affectionate and loving with her people once she's familiar and it just takes her a minute to warm up to new people. Snacks help! She is learning crate-training and routine in foster care and her confidence is growing every day. She loves to play with other dogs big and small. She loves toys and is an excellent snuggler. Welcome Reesaw to CCPAL Rescue. She is an 18-month-old Great Dane mix dog. She weighs in at 102 pounds. She is good with other dogs and came in with an older Great Dane named Planter. Reesaw does pull on leash but we will be working with that. She is moderately active and would be fine with a moderately active family. She is a good balance between active and couch potato. She is good with people and will bond deeply with her person. Great Danes are typically a little shy and they warm up and bond deeply to their family. She does fit this characteristic. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone who has owned an XL dog or a Great Dane would be preferable. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. She is a 2-year-old, 70 LB Anatolian Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA in hopes of finding her forever home here in WA! Alice is gorgeous, sweet, loving, and goofy. She walks well on leash, but is very strong if she does decide to pull. Alice came to us shy and shut down, but has come out of her shell to show her goofy, adventurous, and fun side! Alice has done great with other dogs in our care and has been sweet with all of the staff. She can be quite bouncy when excited so we recommend no small children as she will easily knock them over. She would love a home with a yard that is securely fenced and outside of the busy city area, and would also love a family that will take her on daily walks and outdoor adventures! His perfect home would have a chill, steady, and peaceful environment. Orion walks well on a leash but can be strong and will need a family with good dog-handling skills. He is crate trained and finds comfort in a regular routine. Breed experience is required for his adopter. This big guy is looking for a quieter forever home outside of city-life. He will need a single-family detached home in a suburban or rural neighborhood. He would LOVE a large, securely fenced yard as well to roam and be with his people. In the summertime he would enjoy laying around in the sun! He can be dog selective and has shown to be friendly with submissive females but would do best as an only dog soaking up all the attention! Goliath is sweet with his people, food motivated, focused, and very active. He is dignified and can be quite stubborn at times but eager to please when food is involved. He would do best in a home with a big yard for him to run, play fetch, and explore! He is reactive towards other dogs, and needs to be the only dog in the home.
