FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Give a warm welcome to Sienna! She is a 2-year-old, 84lb Great Dane/Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Sienna is a super sweet dog that walks well on leash and has beautiful markings. She is calm, very smart, learns quickly, and has done well with other dogs. Sienna is still gaining a little bit of confidence but overall is down for any adventure. She loves to go on walks with her person and is very attentive to her handler. Sienna would love a home that takes her on daily walks and adventures. She would make a great additional dog in a home or she would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. We don’t know what happened to her ear as half of one is missing and was that way when she came to us, but it adds that much more character to her! She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
Animal Profile: Scooby is an estimated 8-month-old 52 lb neutered male Dane mix who was taken in as a stray to the very crowded San Bernadino city shelter, adopted and returned a month or so later because the resident chihuahua was not accepting of the big new puppy.  Foster Update: Scooby is such a love! He craves attention, but not annoyingly so. He has been a doll meeting new people and dogs in the home. He seems to prefer larger dogs to smaller dogs who bark at him. Little yappy dogs make him anxious (and who can blame him?). Scooby was listed as a Dane but we could see some Sharpei in hm; he's not going to be a giant dog -- perhaps around 70 lbs when full grown. Scooby is energetic when outside and loves to play chase and wrestle with willing canine companions. He has a confident personality and takes cues from other dogs well. When he's inside he has a great "chill setting" and loves to share the giant dog bed with his Dane buddy. He is doing great in the crate, settling with only mild complaints, and is fully potty trained. Scooby is great on leash: he does not pull and walks more or less by your side. Scooby has an adorable squeaky puppy voice and will follow the resident dogs in shrieking at squirrels running along the fence. His ideal adopter would likely have a single family residence with a fenced yard for romping and a canine friend or two to play with.  Scooby is full of joy and love; everyone who has met him falls in love with him.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from San Bernardino city shelter and arriving to Seattle area foster care on 6/16/24. This dog will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. July 26, 2024, 1:04 pm

Luci is in a neighboring rescue that is having a family emergency. If you are interested in adopting her, we will bring her into Hay Dude to complete the adoption. Let me introduce myself with a big hello from ME, Luci. I'm a wanting a family, one that I can call my very own! I'm still a youngster at around a year and a half. I have a moderate energy level that will require daily walks and playtime. I get on great with people both tall and small and I also do great with other dogs. Of course just because of my size and playfulness, I would do better in a home with another bigger pup for playtimes. And I love water, be it from a hose, pool, lake or river. If there's water, I want in!! I've got that pure sweetness about me that spills over with every look, tail wag and lean! I'm already house trained so we can get to the fun stuff right away!! I come in at 120lbs but that is a 120lbs of pure love, 120lbs of making you melt with just a look, 120lbs of a heartbeat at your feet!!! Are you in search of a BFF to have your back? A sidekick to tag along on your daily going ons? A cohort for all your adventures? Oh my, you don't have to look any further, I'm that gal looking to be YOUR gal!!! Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Orion! He is 6-year-old Bullmastiff/Boerboel mix who weighs 118 lbs. He came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA and is looking for his forever home! His perfect home would have a chill, steady, and peaceful environment. Orion walks well on a leash but can be strong and will need a family with good dog-handling skills. He is crate trained and finds comfort in a regular routine. Breed experience is required for his adopter. This big guy is looking for a quieter forever home outside of city-life. He will need a single-family detached home in a suburban or rural neighborhood. He would LOVE a large, securely fenced yard as well to roam and be with his people. In the summertime he would enjoy laying around in the sun! He can be dog selective and has shown to be friendly with submissive females but would do best as an only dog soaking up all the attention! Orion will be neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Angel! She is a 6-month-old, 32lb Irish Wolfhound mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. She gets her name because she is a total sweetheart and extremely loving. She walks well on leash and loves to go on adventures. Angel is also very intelligent and learns quickly. She LOVES to play with other dogs, and we would love to find her a home with another playful dog in it. She is still a puppy, so she will require all the basic obedience training and structure a puppy needs to become their best dog. Angel is an active girl and would love a forever home that takes her on daily walks and adventures, and also has a fenced yard for her to run around and explore. She is a large breed dog so no apartment or city life for her. She can be somewhat of a tripping hazard as she loves to be right between her persons legs. She is going to make a wonderful addition to any lucky home that adopts her! Angel is UTD on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $550.
