Story
Kylo Ren is a gentle giant! He will be 5 years old on June 1st. I’ve debated back and forth for so long on whether or not to rehome him. He is a very, very good boy. The only reason we are looking for a new home for him, is because I know the life he has with us is not the best he could have, nor the best he deserves. My husband and I both work full time, and Kylo is in his crate for the majority of the day. He does go to daycare 2x every other week at The Dog Ranch in Berthoud but I can’t afford that every day.Kylo does shed quite a bit, he barks (he’s a guardian dog for sure), and occasionally digs in the yard. But he is a lover, he loves to snuggle and be petted. He is good with dogs, he is good with cats (he wants to play with them- whether or not the cat will like that is another story), and good with children. Sometimes he doesn’t realize his size and will knock my toddler over while playing.

Story
Penelope is one of those dogs that instantly makes the environment around her feel calmer. She has a relaxed, easygoing personality and doesn’t seem interested in creating chaos or drama. While other dogs are bouncing around demanding attention, Penelope is usually content just hanging out nearby, lounging in the sun, or quietly observing what’s going on around her. At around 2 years old and 45 lbs, Penelope has a wonderful middle-ground personality. She enjoys going on walks, exploring, and being part of whatever you’re doing, but she’s equally happy spending the afternoon relaxing outside or stretched out beside you after a long day. She’s great with both dogs and cats and has a naturally calm social style that helps her fit easily into group environments. Penelope has a soft, grounded presence that makes her very easy to live with. Good fit: someone wanting a calm companion who enjoys both adventures and peaceful downtime without needing constant stimulation. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit? Story
Meet the Beautiful Lucille!! DOG AND KID FRIENDLY!! She’s a big tall skinny girl but oh so sweet!! Lucille arrived to Colorado on 5/3 and has been doing great settling into her foster home! She’s friendly, curious, and loves playing with her stuffies. She loves getting to explore new smells on walks and does well on the leash. She's a complete silly goose with a good amount of energy for playtime and affection and she adores belly rubs. She sleeps perfectly in her crate at night and when left at home. She’s a big dog who thinks she’s a tiny baby and will happily sprawl out on your lap. She is super goofy with kids and would be a great family dog or perfect for any home where she can get lots of sniffs and playtime. She loves walks but will need more enrichment than just that to work out her puppy energy — either going on a run, playing with another dog, playing fetch / tug, doing a snuffle mats, dog puzzle, etc. She does love chewing on a bone or working on a frozen Kong; both of these are great for getting her to settle down. She’s a big dog but skinny (guessing she's an Akbash more than a Pyr). Currently at a healthy weight. Guessed to be young, around age 1-2. All POSO Dogs come with: - Spayed/Neutered - Basic Shots (age appropriate) - Fecal and 4dx testing - other medical concerns addressed before adoption - 2 Free one on one dog training sessions with a professional dog trainer - Training received in foster home - Basic things like some food, treats, leash and collar - PDFs of training material and local coupons and dog sitter recommendations

Story
Daisy is a beautiful purebred Great Pyrenees with a heart just as big as her fluffy frame. This sweet girl is incredibly friendly, gentle, and loves being around people and other dogs. She truly lives up to the “gentle giant” reputation of her breed.Daisy has an adorable quirk—she’s only vocal when it comes to things in the sky! Birds, airplanes, or anything overhead might get a bark or two, but otherwise she’s calm and easygoing.Due to her previous owner moving into a senior care facility, Daisy is now in need of a new loving home. This transition hasn’t dimmed her sweet nature—she’s still as affectionate and loyal as ever.Daisy would thrive in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs, relax in the sunshine, and keep a watchful (but mellow) eye on her surroundings. She’s looking for someone who will give her the love, stability, and care she deserves. If you’re searching for a kind-hearted, gentle companion to share your home and heart, Daisy may be the perfect match.

Story
It's hard not to fall in love with Snowberry (affectionately called Mama)! She is a sweet 5 year old mix of Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd and Chow (DNA results) who is slowly but enthusiastically coming out of her shell after having 5 puppies. Her puppies are all adopted now, and she is looking for her forever home. If you have room for a respectful, trained and loving big dog in your home, this dog is a keeper. She is back to her normal weight and is feeling safe in the world again. She loves playing with her big dog foster brother, but honestly would love to just sleep and cuddle the days away. She keeps track of the fence line, but not aggressively. She loves to nap in the sun, and nap in bed, and nap on the couch, and also nap on the rug in front of the fire. She is smart, won't disrespect boundaries, and hasn't got a mean bone in her body. She is definitely trained and has enjoyed a loving home in her previous life. She has not been tested with cats or babies, and she is probably not in the mood for more puppies at this point, but she will adapt to most any home with all the right loving kindness.

Story
Avalanche, Great Pyrenees mix, 3 yrs., 80 lbs. Housebroken. Avalanche is going to take some time to get used to you and new surroundings. It took a week for him to get used to being leashed. He is headstrong and stubborn but is affectionate. Good with other dogs. He needs to be an indoor/outdoor dog not a livestock dog. We prefer a home with Pyrenees experience, someone home most of the time unless there’s another dog in the home. He was surrendered due to his owner becoming ill and he could no longer care for him.
