Story
Spotakus (Spot) for short is a sweet, gentle, and friendly Livestock Gaurdian. He is about 2 years old and has been exposed to livestocksince birth. He's naturally shy with new people but has never shown an ounce of aggression; he's never even growled. He is the most gentle giant. True to his guardian instincts, he keeps predators away and thrives in a working environment with livestock. He has worked with sheep, a small group of cows, goats, and poultry. Spot needs a property where he can do the job he was born for and a person who will give him time, patience, and consistency. His parents are purebred, and he’s healthy, well-mannered with a ton of potential.

Story
"Meet Your New Best Friend 💛 At just 5 months old, this Pyrenees mix girl is equal parts fluffy, funny, and full of love. She has that perfect puppy mix of playful curiosity and melt-into-your-arms sweetness. If you’re looking for a shadow with four paws, she’s your girl. She absolutely adores people and thrives on connection. Wherever you are, that’s where she wants to be. She’s wonderful with other dogs and would truly blossom in a home with a canine buddy to wrestle, romp, and nap beside. Cats? She likes them! She just hasn’t quite cracked the code on what they’re for yet. She’s more confused than anything — it’s pretty adorable. Her dream home would include: Another friendly dog A fenced backyard to stretch those growing legs Plenty of toys (she’s an enthusiastic collector!) A family who is around often and wants a constant companion She doesn’t do well in a crate and gets lonely when left alone for long periods. She’s happiest when she’s part of the action — whether that’s movie night on the couch or following you from room to room like your fluffy assistant. This sweet girl doesn’t just want a home — she wants her people. In return, she’ll give you loyalty, laughter, and more love than you can imagine. If you’re ready for a devoted, joyful, slightly goofy best friend, she’s ready to meet you." Story
Who’s fluffy, white, and a total delight? Teddy! Teddy is a 10-12 week old Great Pyrenees. He’s around 22 lbs. Teddy is doing beautifully with his house and crate training. He’s incredibly smart, great with dogs, and doesn’t mind the cat in his foster home. He’s even met a kiddo and loved him, too. Teddy will thrive in a home that will keep his mind and body occupied (Pyrenees are known for being independent, often loud, and they like the dig and chew). A big yard and plenty of snuggles to go around would be the cherry on top! Teddy is being fostered in Greeley, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/teddy/. Story
"Looking for a little bit of fluff and a whole lot of heart? Meet Holly, a 10-12-week-old Great Pyrenees puppy who is ready to find her “furever” home. Holly is a sensitive soul who is still figuring out that the big wide world isn’t so scary after all. While she’s a little shy at first, once she feels safe, her true personality shines through! She loves to play with other dogs and they help to build her confidence. She is currently in a home with older kiddos (10 and 13) and two playful dogs. She really loves to play with toys and is treat motivated. She is still a puppy but is doing great with crate and potty training. She will be pure joy to her forever family!" Story
Sweet Gretta is a 10-12 week old, female, Great Pyrenees mix. Gretta is a total love bug after a brief warm up period. She can be kinda shy at first. She LOVES other dogs and would very much enjoy another dog in her forever home. Gretta is quiet as a mouse in her crate and happily uses the doggie door to go outside and do her business. She is looking for a home with a big back yard so she can sow all of her Great Pyr oats and a confident, friendly dog to show her the ropes. Gretta is being fostered in Fort Collins, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/gretta/. Story
Junie is a sweet, fully potty trained, and well behaved 3-year old female Colorado Mountain Dog! She loves people, of all ages (especially kids), and other canine playmates. She needs a loving and patient home with a fair amount of land so she can run, and preferably have a job. She loves the ranch life and gets along with others, but I moved from the ranching life. She needs more room than I have and I'd love to see her thrive in a family who can give her what she needs. She is quiet, unless there is something outside at night. She loves toys, bones, treats, and the occasional dropped food scraps. She is very silly and always brings humor to the day! She will only sleep in a dog bed and has done so since she was a puppy. I never knew why; I think the previous owner/breeder taught her this. She needs to run to be the best behaved dog. If she doesn't, she'll have some behavior issues. She knows vocal commands, on-leash and off. Please reach out with questions.
