Story
Welcome Athena to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year Great Pyrenees. She weighs about 90 pounds. She has a beautiful coat and the typical extra back toes commonly found in this breed. This is a guardian breed dog. They naturally will protect their flock or family. This breed will do best in a fully fenced yard as they will roam away if there is no fence. She is good with other dogs and will need some more leash work. She would be great with someone that knows the breed and loves it. She should have the natural tendencies of this breed. She had puppies and we adopted them out. We also adopted out the larger male that was found with her as a stray. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccines, healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas anc can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Blizzard is a sweet girl who was born 11/26/23. Guessing on breeds, looks to be a pyr/ lab/ hound mix best guess. She will likely be a medium / large sized dog and is the smallest in the group. She is currently 30 lbs and growing. She is current on vaccinations, preventions, spayed and chipped. Due to breed characters a physically fenced yard is required. Blizzard is located in middle TN, but not to worry her transport is included in the adoption fee with Rescue Riders Transport to one of their delivery locations. We are happy to set up a virtual meet and greet with any approved application. Please contact us for more information or an adoption application.

Story
Meet Marshmello & Beethoven, these Great Pyrenees are about 1.5 years old and about 65lbs. These incredible pups were found running along a very busy highway in a huge storm on Monday, January 8, 2024. They were thin, soaking wet and starving. They were terrified of people and acted like they had been cared for with a very heavy hand. They are bonded and love to sleep together. They also enjoy their time apart. They like walking between your legs and getting their ears scratched. They like being outside and spending time with the family. They like baby talk. They love giving kisses now and have an easy temperament. They are non-reactive to other dogs, even when other dogs are barking around them. They will lay around in the kitchen while you are cooking. An ideal home is one where they are together. They can be in a multi pet home and enjoy kids of all ages. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
