Story
Hi there! I am a lovable little puppy! Even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don`t get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what`s expected of me. I will need help on all those fun puppy things like house training and basic obedience. I want to learn everything I possibly can. I am pretty excited about life and doing new things! My goal is to be your lifelong companion and I should learn quickly with praise, treats and little patience. I`d really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy! It will be fun to watch me as I`m learning, after all puppies can be pretty silly. If you`re ready to take on all the fun and companionship then look no further!

Story
Meet Nimbus! Nimbus is a handsome white Great Pyrenees who was found as a stray and is now waiting for his fresh start. This extra-large guy is about 77 pounds and, at under 2 years old, still very much a young dog learning his way in the world. He has a calm, gentle demeanor and a quiet presence that makes him easy to be around.Nimbus is friendly with people and takes new situations in stride, showing the thoughtful, easygoing nature the breed is known for. Nimbus knows sit. He’s neutered and ready for a loving home that understands large-breed dogs and can offer him patience, structure, and plenty of care as he settles into family lifeNimbus is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.

Milo DOB: 11/06/2025 Breed: Great Pyrenees / Labrador Retriever / German Shepherd mix (best guess) Milo is a bright, curious puppy with a charming mixed look and an engaging personality. He loves to investigate new things, play with toys, and interact with the people around him. Milo brings a nice balance of puppy playfulness and thoughtful moments, making him fun to watch and easy to connect with. Like all puppies, Milo is learning his routines and will thrive with continued training, socialization, and positive guidance. He would do well in a home excited to nurture a growing pup and ready for the time, patience, and joy that come with puppyhood. Milo is ready to start his next chapter with a family who will help him grow into a confident, loyal companion. Breed mix is a best guess based on appearance and age; we cannot guarantee breed makeup. ✨ All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. If you have other dogs in your home, we require that they meet our dog prior to adoption. 💲 Adoption fee: $225 📍 Once you apply, the foster will contact you to schedule a meet and greet. 👉 Apply here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HAUS/Dog

Story
Spot Great Pyrenees / German Shepherd / Labrador mix (best guess) DOB: 11/06/2025 Spot is a thoughtful, gentle puppy who enjoys life at a calmer pace. He’s a bit cautious at first but quickly shows his affectionate side—he loves to snuggle, curl up for naps, and be carried around. Playtime happens in short bursts, followed by plenty of relaxation. Nicknamed “Raccoon” thanks to his facial markings (not because he’s a trash panda), Spot enjoys laying in the sun and spending time with his brother. He does very well in his crate and will patiently wait to be released, even when the door is open. Spot is not a mouthy puppy and would do well with smaller children. He gets along well with large dogs and, with proper introductions and training, may do fine with cats. Based on his mix, he’s expected to grow into a medium-to-large adult dog. Spot would be a great addition to a variety of homes and is ready to continue growing with a family who will guide him as he matures. All of our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines. Adoption fee for all dogs/pups: $225. Our dogs are in foster homes across the KC metro. We do not have a shelter facility. Apply here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HAUS/Dog
