Adopt a Pet from Mutt Life!𝗔𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗟 𝗜𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗪𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚. 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗪𝗛𝗬?Several of us had the chance to 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹, and after spending time with her, we keep asking ourselves:𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴? Because 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 is such a 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗴. She’s a big girl with a real presence, and she bonds with her people FAST. After just one night with us, that was it—𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 had decided we are her people and she wanted to be right by our sides.So let’s stop looking backward about where she was and start looking at 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹’𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit.4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $125 once we receive proof of the procedure.
