Story
King is a handsome 1.5 year old Great Pyrenees Male. He has a fluffy white coat with some tan on his ears.
King is sweet boy who gets along great with other dogs of all ages and sizes. He loves people, and is a gentle guy!
King is potty trained in his foster home, but his new family should be prepared for a few accidents while he learns the routine at his new home in WI.
King was found in rural Texas, abandoned on the outskirts of town along with two other dogs. He was being shot at with BB guns by the land owner in an attempt to get him to leave. Thankfully he was rescued, and brought to us to find him a better life in WI.
He is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition.
King is one of a select few of our rescues whom we believe are purebred or a popular designer blend which we adopt out at a near market rate in order to use those funds to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis.
His adoption fee is $750, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
