Puff is the kind of dog who may start out a bit shy, but once he feels safe, his loving nature shines through in the most endearing ways.   Puff’s day usually begins around 8:30 a.m. After waking up, he heads out for a morning walk around 9:00 a.m., followed by breakfast. He’s happy with a calm routine and prefers a peaceful home environment. During the day, Puff mostly relaxes indoors and has a habit of curling up under the bed or nearby, keeping himself close but not demanding. In the evenings, he settles nicely into his crate and sleeps there peacefully through the night, showing that he’s comfortable with structure and downtime.   Personality-wise, Puff is polite, patient, and very sweet-natured. When he first arrived, he was understandably shy, but he adjusted quickly and began mingling with ease. As he’s settled in, his affectionate side has really come out. He loves being near his person and will happily follow from room to room, wagging his tail along the way. He’s a gentle “shadow” dog who enjoys companionship and reassurance, and he can get a bit vocal when left alone, expressing that he truly values being around his people.   Puff is more of a lounger than a high-energy dog. He’s content spending much of the day relaxing on the couch, though he does perk up with excitement when greeting someone he hasn’t seen in a while. On walks, he does very well on leash and doesn’t pull. He does get excited by pigeons and may try to chase them, and he tends to bark at other dogs while out and about, though this is more just communication and enthusiasm, as he gets along with other dogs and lived with other dogs in the shelter.   Puff is housebroken and crate trained and does not chew, dig, or get into mischief. He does bark when someone comes over, walks past the house, or enters a room, which makes him a bit of a tiny watchdog, but otherwise he’s very well-mannered and eager to follow instructions. One of his standout traits is how responsive and cooperative he is— he listens beautifully and doesn’t require much convincing to do what’s asked of him.   Puff seems to have a sensitive stomach and his adopter will need to work with their veterinarian to find a diet that works for him.   Puff would do wonderfully in a loving, patient home that appreciates a calm, affectionate companion. He’s a truly special dog— sweet, gentle, and eager to please— and he’s ready to bring his quiet magic into the right family’s life.January 2, 2026, 4:26 pm

Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $800 Meet Justin Bieber, a 10–12 month old, 19 lb Havanese mix whose shelter haircut was so dramatic it earned him his name. When Justin first arrived at the shelter, he was severely matted with thick, dirty fur and clearly uncomfortable. Once he was shaved down, a well-meaning but goofy stylist left him with a long mane flopped over his face. That signature look has since been trimmed so he can see where he’s going, and his soft coat is already growing back beautifully. What hasn’t changed is his sweet expression and joyful, puppyish spirit.   Justin has settled into a lovely daily routine in foster care. His mornings start around 7:30 am with a trip outside for potty time, followed by breakfast. He’s a very enthusiastic eater, so his meals are served in two parts to slow him down. He’s come a long way with food and now happily eats kibble, something that took a bit of patience and transition. Around 8:00 am, he heads back outside for official business, followed by some backyard exploring before settling in for naps, cuddles, and playtime. He enjoys fetch, squeaky toys, and lounging near his people throughout the day. Around 4:00 pm, he goes for a leash walk, which he truly loves. Dinner is served around 6:00 pm, again in two parts, followed by an evening potty break, a burst of joyful zoomies, and more snuggles. His final potty trip is around 10:00 pm, and by 11:00 pm he is ready for bed, sleeping quietly in his crate without issue. He’ll even walk into it on his own. If he’s wearing a cone, he settles just as well on a dog bed on the floor.   Personality-wise, Justin is an absolute delight. When he first arrived, he was clearly uncomfortable and had moments of howling and whining, likely from pain related to his condition at intake. Despite that, all he wanted was affection, even though being touched around his neck hurt. He greeted discomfort with kisses and a wagging tail. As he’s healed and settled in, his true personality has emerged: playful, spunky, affectionate, and incredibly loving. If you’re looking for a dog who truly loves his people, Justin is your guy. He adores fetch and has the most hilarious bouncy gallop when he runs. Squeaky toys are his greatest joy and motivate him as much as high-value treats, though he’s gentle with them and not destructive. He’s just as happy to curl up next to you on the couch, rest his head in your lap, and quietly ask for pets and belly rubs. He’ll often roll right onto his back, belly up, hoping you get the hint.   Justin is good with other dogs and would enjoy a canine companion who wants to play. He currently lives with a 5-year-old Scottie and would happily play longer if his housemate were more interested. He’s playful but not over-the-top and has a nice balance of energy and calm. He enjoys activity, walks, and play sessions, but he’s also very content being a lap dog and couch companion.   On leash, Justin is happy and curious. He doesn’t have a perfect heel and likes to move at a brisk pace, but he doesn’t pull much and loves to stop and sniff his surroundings. He is housetrained and does not use pee pads. His signal to go out is subtle—he simply goes to the back door—so someone paying attention to his routine will do best. He hasn’t learned to use a doggy door yet and is a bit afraid of it, though he’s otherwise not a skittish dog. Rain is not his favorite, and he’ll need encouragement or a leash escort to go out when the weather is wet.   Justin doesn’t dig or chew and only barks when someone comes to the door. He does, however, snore, which his foster finds endlessly amusing. One of the most special things about Justin is how resilient and loving he is. Despite clearly being in pain when he first arrived, he never stopped seeking affection. Now that he’s feeling better, his playful puppy side shines. One recent evening, he entertained himself for hours, tossing toys into the air and chasing them, bouncing around the house with pure joy. Watching him rediscover how fun it is to be a puppy has been incredibly heartwarming.   Justin Bieber is a sweet, funny, affectionate young dog who would thrive in a home that offers love, daily walks, playtime, and plenty of couch space for snuggling. He’s not overly demanding, but he truly enjoys companionship and being part of everyday life. His transformation has been remarkable, and he’s more than ready to bring laughter, love, and a little bounce into his forever home.  January 3, 2026, 12:28 pm
