All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped. * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $800 Chappell Roan is a 4 month old Havanese mix who is H-O-T-T-O-G-O home with her forever family! This superstar puppy was surrendered to our shelter when her former home decided they weren’t ready for a puppy. Well, we strapped on our pink pony shoes and scooped her up, promising her a life of adventure and love ahead! Chappell has been an absolute joy for our volunteers and is a total rescue favorite (especially for those who love her namesake). This gal has a combination coat (mom and dad are a mystery) so she won’t be an option for those with allergies. We expect she will be in the 10-15 pound range when she is fully grown. Once you meet her, you won’t be able to “Picture” yourself without her! Chappell Roan is a sweet and loving little gal with a heart of pure gold. She loves belly rubs, giving kisses, and showing off her adoration for her people. Chappell adores her stuffed toys and would love nothing more than a plush throne fit for a queen in her forever home. It’s so fun to watch her drag around toys bigger than her as she goes about her puppy activities. She has an absolutely fabulous temperament with a silly personality. She knows how to make her people laugh and she shows off her sense of humor whenever she gets the zoomies, hopping around the yard with a wagging tail. When she gets older and can go on walks, we think she would be a fabulous adventure companion. She has the spirit of an explorer and doesn’t let silly things like “being small” slow her down from living her best life. She turns heads when she prances around, so prepare for a lifetime of free treats and pup cups. Chappell Roan faces the world with a sunny personality and an enthusiasm we wish we could have. This girl will wish you “Good Luck Babe” every time you bend down to scratch her belly. What a superstar and what a perfect puppy, truly the best combo! Chappell Roan starts her morning at 8 AM with a wagging tail as her foster parents let her out of her pen for belly rubs and kisses. She goes outside for potty and then zooms back inside for her morning meal. Since she can’t go on walks yet, she spends her days zooming around her yard, snoozing on her dog beds, getting cuddles from her foster parents, and hanging with her canine foster sister! In the afternoon, Chappell gets some training time (she’s already learned sit!) before she takes a well-deserved nap. Dinner is served at 5 PM which she happily devours. After she finishes and goes out for a potty break, she settles onto the couch for a snuggle session as she catches up on her fan mail. She heads to her crate for the night at 8 PM. Chappell Roan gets along fabulously with dogs of all ages and sizes. She would love a canine sibling in her forever home but would also be fine as a solo artist, as long as her people are ready to adore her. She ADORES her fans (and her humans) and knows how adorable she is, soaking up pets and cuddles wherever she goes. Interested homes must be prepared to discuss plans for continued training and socialization to ensure she is a canine good citizen as an adult. There is nothing “Casual” about how much you will love our gal Chappell! Chappell Roan is only an option for homes who have owned a dog in the last five years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.July 26, 2024, 2:33 pm
