Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. ----------- Meet Wooyeon, (Female, approx. 3 years old) * Havanese or Maltese mix (estimated) * Weight: 11.6 kg (full-grown) *Spayed: Yes * Pregnancy History: None * Medical History: Previously treated for Babesia and heartworm. Treatment completed. *Rescue Story Wooyeon was found wandering the streets by two sisters, who brought her to a veterinary clinic. At the hospital, she was diagnosed with Babesia and heartworm. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of treatment, the original sisters left her at the hospital and could not continue her care. She was later transferred to a nearby private shelter, where she received full treatment and recovery support. Since then, she has been living at the shelter and is now healthy and ready to find her forever home. - Compatibility With Cats: She has briefly encountered cats at the veterinary hospital and showed no strong reaction. She was not particularly interested. With Other Dogs: She gets along very well with all other dogs and can be adopted into a multi-dog household. With Adults and Children: Very friendly and affectionate with both adults and children. Personality & Behavior Leash Manners: Very good on walks. Food Allergies / Diet: No known food allergies. She has mild tear staining, so allergies are suspected but have not been tested. She is not a picky eater. House Training: Prefers outdoor elimination. Separation Anxiety: None observed. Barking: No excessive barking. She may bark when excited or greeting people. Likes & Dislikes: She deeply loves people and craves human affection. Three Words to Describe Her Affectionate. Energetic. Kylo is a 5-year-old Black Havapoo, born November 5, 2020. He was purchased from Central Park Puppies and came home in January 2021. He is incredibly smart, food-motivated, and loves playing fetch. Kylo enjoys being outside and will happily walk in any weather. He does not like shoes but will wear a slip-on coat when heading outdoors. Kylo is independent and not overly cuddly, though he enjoys lying next to you while you relax. He thrives in a calm, predictable environment and does best with adults. A home without children is preferred, as he does not enjoy frequent petting. Kylo has anxiety and is on medication. Our current apartment, located in front of an elevator with frequent door noise and foot traffic, has been difficult for him. He would do best in a quiet house or first-floor apartment with minimal hallway noise. A backyard or open space to roam would be ideal. Kylo is a loving, loyal companion who will flourish in a peaceful home that understands his needs.
