Archie was surrendered by his former owner due to his high level of anxiety and resource guarding. He is currently taking anti-anxiety medication. These behavioral issues are able to be desensitized with Archie being placed in the right home with a new family who is willing to work with him. CODAR will include free in home training with our recommended trainer who has vast knowledge of dog language and how to show positive reinforcement while setting boundaries in the home. He was purchased from a pet store and lived in an adult only home until he was surrendered. He is approximately 2 years old. We are unsure if this was a learned behavior or if he was not corrected when it first began. Archie is super friendly when meeting new people and loves to be petted. He gets along well with the other dogs staying at our facility. He walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. He is up to date on all shots, is neutered and microchipped. Archie requires an experienced dog owner willing to work with him. Due to his current issues, we recommend a home without children or visiting grandchildren. He will probably take a bit to adjust to a new home but he did come in pretty rough, he has got loose a couple times and can be a pain to catch because he runs his little heart out I guess hes never had that freedom before but he has not taken off just runs her yard till he starts to tire. Moonly aka Hershel is timid but coming out of his shell. Starting to smile and bark because he is happy to be free from breeders. With time and patience, he is the perfect puppers even for first time pawrents. Personality & Characteristics: Timid and shy at first but silly and playful once comfortable. He let's out this adorable howl when hearing a firetruck. He does not like loud sounds, and would thrive in a quiet and relaxed home.My foster dog is good with: Adults and dogs if/when he trusts you. Story

Wanderflower is a very loving dog, she is a bit timid but loves to be around dogs and people. She needs a patient person who will shower her with love. Wanderflower gets along with any dog she meets and is always curious and sweet. She is house trained, and loves her crate as her safe space. Wanderflower sheds very little. Although timid with new people, she is extremely resilient and brave. Everyday she shows the love she has to give. Every morning eager to give kisses and a big stretch. Wanderflower lives with a resident dog, and gets along wonderfully. Her energy level is about a 4, she enjoys exploring the house and laying on the couch. She isn’t a loud barker but does whimper a bit when left alone (can you blame her?). Wanderflower would do amazing with another dog to keep her company but it is not a requirement. Due to her apprehensive nature, walking outside is a learning process - she needs some convincing to leave the house, but once outside she is a good walker. She also gets to explore outside in a stroller and does well with outside noise. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract.
