Treatment completed. *Rescue Story Wooyeon was found wandering the streets by two sisters, who brought her to a veterinary clinic. At the hospital, she was diagnosed with Babesia and heartworm. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of treatment, the original sisters left her at the hospital and could not continue her care. She was later transferred to a nearby private shelter, where she received full treatment and recovery support. Since then, she has been living at the shelter and is now healthy and ready to find her forever home. - Compatibility With Cats: She has briefly encountered cats at the veterinary hospital and showed no strong reaction. She was not particularly interested. With Other Dogs: She gets along very well with all other dogs and can be adopted into a multi-dog household. With Adults and Children: Very friendly and affectionate with both adults and children. Personality & Behavior Leash Manners: Very good on walks. Food Allergies / Diet: No known food allergies. She has mild tear staining, so allergies are suspected but have not been tested. She is not a picky eater. House Training: Prefers outdoor elimination. Separation Anxiety: None observed. Sassy and her babies are fostered in West TN and will not travel until their adoptions are finalized. The very first step to start the process is to submit the adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog Sassy gave birth to her pups in mid February at a place that wasn’t very caring or comfortable. Thankfully someone had the sense to reach out to get them all into rescue where they are all safe, happy and healthy. We aren’t sure about the dad as he was a traveling salesman but we hear a rumor he could be a local Heeler. Sassy appears to be a Havanese mix and she weighs 30 pounds and is about 2 years old. They are all so very sweet and loving and are fostered in a home with kids, dogs, chickens, ducks, and horses. If all continues to go as planned they will be ready for forever homes at the end of April/first of May once their vetting is complete.
