Rose is a very good baby she loves to run and play like an husky does. She need’s somewhere with space for her to go out and play, she is not very good with other dogs but we had another dog she was raised with that she got along with. She is very protective of her owners and doesn’t like strangers. She is good with older kids I have a 10 year old she loves to cuddle with, we have not seen how she reacts to younger kids. We moved to a smaller place an would love her to go to a loving new home and not animal control.

Meet Gunnar! Gunnar is a 5 month old husky mix. He weighs 40 pounds but still has lots of growing to do. He is playful and friendly with everyone- he loves kids, other dogs, and playing all day!! However, he does love to chase cats. He is learning how to walk on a leash and working on his puppy manners. Gunnar does crate well but he would rather be right by your side. He is a rambunctious boy and he does need some manners around little kids- he has no idea how much he weighs and will jump right into you. For an adult, this is manageable. For a little kid, he will knock them over. Ideally in a home with little kids, he would do best with an owner who is use to training and setting boundaries with a puppy and kids who are not going to be afraid of a puppy who is learning how to be a respectful family member. Gunnar is mostly housetrained, but does have the occasional accident if he left inside for too long- he is still a puppy after all! Hi, I am MoLena! I am named after the town I was found wondering through. Coco's attempted to locate my people, but they never came, but that's okay, I am ready for a new home. My new home will need to have a tall, sturdy fence, preferably one that I cannot see through. Due to my breed, I have a pretty intense prey drive and think cats and other small mammals are toys that I need to seek and destroy. So, no feline friends in the same household as me. I love to play with people and other dogs though and would make a great companion for someone. I am okay with kids, but I do prefer if they are a little older, so that they can play with me!

She absolutely loves everyone she meets and is a very happy go lucky girl. Kacy is smart and listens very well. She will sit, shake and lay down on command. She weighs around 50 lbs, is spayed, current on shots and crate trained. She doesn’t have the thick, fluffy coat of a purebred Husky so that’s a lot less dog hair to brush!! She is great in the house and a non-chewer. Stormy was dumped im Stone Mountain along with her sibling. Both found homes, but Stormy did not get along with the other female, so she was returned to the finders. Stormy, based on what we know, would be great as an only dog or with larger, male dogs. She has a strong prey drive with small animals, therefore, she cannot live with cats or small dogs. We have scheduled Stormy to be spayed and she will be ready for adoption once she has recovered, in approximately 3 weeks or so (mid-April). She will be microchipped. She is available for meet and greet now. She is approximately 8 months old. She has not been exposed to children. She is crate trained and housebroken, walks well on a leash, knows “sit” and we are working on more commands. Husky experience strongly preferred. References, background check, and home check required. Fee will be donated to Lifeline.

This gorgeous Brown Eyed boy will steal your heart.  He is so sweet and loving with a truly wonderful personality. He is by far one of the smartest dogs in the rescue. Hunter loves to play, especially with other dogs. He loves sitting in your lap, cuddling up. He also loves lying up against his human so he will likely be a good couch potato on movie night. It is strongly recommended Hunter has a fenced yard for play time.
