Story
Stormy was dumped im Stone Mountain along with her sibling. Both found homes, but Stormy did not get along with the other female, so she was returned to the finders. Stormy, based on what we know, would be great as an only dog or with larger, male dogs. She has a strong prey drive with small animals, therefore, she cannot live with cats or small dogs. We have scheduled Stormy to be spayed and she will be ready for adoption once she has recovered, in approximately 3 weeks or so (mid-April). She will be microchipped. She is available for meet and greet now. She is approximately 8 months old. She has not been exposed to children. She is crate trained and housebroken, walks well on a leash, knows “sit” and we are working on more commands. Husky experience strongly preferred. References, background check, and home check required. Fee will be donated to Lifeline.

Meet Miss Kacy ~ a fun loving 2 year-old, SMALL female Husky mix, who’s as sweet as they come! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Kacy is extremely outgoing and has the best personality. She absolutely loves everyone she meets and is a very happy go lucky girl. Kacy is extremely smart and listens very well. She will sit, shake and lay down on command. She weighs around 50 lbs, is spayed, current on shots and crate trained. Kacy doesn’t have the thick, fluffy coat of a purebred Husky so that’s a lot less dog hair to brush!! She is great in the house and a non-chewer. Ready to add a fun, loving and spunky girl, who loves walks, car rides and especially belly rubs to your life?&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 ***Kacy needs a fenced yard, a 6 ft wood privacy fence works best. He is an older boy who was surrendered when his owner went into the hospital and could no longer care for him. Due to a severe medical issue (a badly infected ulcerated perianal mass) he was due to be put to sleep at the county shelter, but thankfully Rescue Pals stepped up to pull him in the nick of time! He underwent surgery to have the mass removed in late March and is now fully recovered and ready for his forever home! He loves walks and car rides, and appreciates being petted and loved on, but only on his own terms - sometimes he prefers to just be left alone. He does occasionally sing the husky song when he wants attention or just wants to go outside, but overall, he is pretty quiet and low-key. He LOVES treats Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 16, 2024, 3:58 pm

Story
Rhea (REE-yah) is a sweet 4 year-old Siberian Husky whose owner had a stroke and can no longer care for her. She is very affectionate for a Husky and not aggressive at all. She is high anxiety, however, and especially fears thunder and vet visits! We give her trazedone from time to time to manage anxiety. Great dog who needs an owner who can take care of her properly.
