We aquired Willow from a family in the Neighborhood that had puppies they were giving away. Willow is a 1 year old Husky. My 3 children wanted a dog and along came Willow. She is an amazing dog. She loves my children and is very sweet with them. We love her so much! The thought of me typing these words is breaking my heart. I am a single mother and as we travel, take breaks and participate in sports, I'm finding that Willow is not always getting the attention she needs. We live in a town home and I know that she does not have the adequate space to run and get all the exercise she needs. We do our best but I often feel like the best for her would be a place where she gets more time and attention. I would love for her to be in a home that is in Georgia. I would prefer an open adoption where we are able to visit Willow in the future. With respect, If she goes to a family that travels and needs breaks, we would love to have her board with us at no cost when time permits.

She weighs around 50 lbs, is spayed, current on shots and crate trained. Kacy doesn’t have the thick, fluffy coat of a purebred Husky so that’s a lot less dog hair to brush!! She is great in the house and a non-chewer. Queen is a wonderful dog around 11-12 years. She will take some time to adjust to a new home. She came from an extreme neglect situation and is doing well with me but still is skittish around new situations or people. It is amazing how resilient animals are! She was malnourished and living in a pen for years with little human contact. She loves other dogs and will play for hours but will wait to come in the door until the coast is clear of humans. She does not love the human touch but will tolerate it and show no aggression when touched, just discomfort. Queen will thrive in a calm, quiet household with another dog and lots of love.
