Story
This pretty gal is spayed and fully healthy! She is up to date on vaccines. She is also microchipped! 💧: Housebreaking - River is reliably potty trained! 🏠 : Crate Training - She has shown separation distress and would do best in a home with someone who is home often or with a dog companion to keep her company 🚶: Leash walking - Walks nicely on a leash and enjoys exploring with their person. 🐶: Dog-friendly - Yes! She gets along with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion. 😺: Cat-friendly - Not sure, she has not met cats while with us. We would recommend a slow introduction with a way to separate the home for each pet. 🧒 Kid-friendly - She has shown positive signs around respectful older children but may need a gradual introduction to younger family members. Our favorite thing about River is how far she’s come in just a few short weeks. She’s gone from being wary of strangers to greeting her dog walker like an old friend, and she now watches squirrels with the calm curiosity of a nature-documentary narrator. She’s incredibly smart—she solved a food puzzle in just a day!—and endlessly food-motivated, which makes training feel more like a fun game than work. Underneath her separation stress is a genuinely happy, gentle, easygoing girl who has discovered that the world—and the people, kids, and squirrels in it—isn’t quite so scary after all. River has a wonderfully calm energy and loves pets and neck scratches. She likes to stay close to her people and will happily snooze at your feet while you work. And when it’s time to relax? River’s favorite place on earth is a soft, comfy spot on the couch. She’s looking for an adopter who will happily let her curl up beside them and enjoy all the cozy comforts of home. 💰 River's adoption fee is $300, and she will make a great addition to her future home! 🧬 This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like! 🩷 Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/. Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. Tom is neutered and fully healthy! He is up to date on vaccines. He is also microchipped! Tom is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! 💧: Reliably potty trained and lets you know when they need to go outside. 🚶: Working on Leash Skills: Learning how to walk politely on a leash with guidance and practice. 🐶: Dog Friendly: Gets along with dogs of his size or larger and would likely enjoy having a canine companion. Tom is not a match for homes with small dogs. 😺: Not Cat Friendly: Does not do well with cats and should live in a cat-free home. 🧒 Kid-friendly: Tom may do well with teenagers, but would likely be too much for little ones. Tom is an extremely curious and observant dog who wants to explore and be part of the action. He is very friendly and playful with other dogs and can play for hours. While he's an independent guy, Tom has a sweet way of seeking affection. When he wants some attention, he'll come over and gently nudge you for pets. Like many husky mixes, Tom is smart, active, loves going for walks, and always looking for something to do. He'll thrive with an adopter who can provide plenty of exercise and enrichment. If you're looking for a friendly, intelligent dog who is ready for adventure, Tom might be the perfect fit. 🧬 This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like! 💰 Tom’s adoption fee is $300, and this sweet pup can't wait to meet you! 🩷 Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/. He is a calm, steady walker who completely ignores passing people and other dogs. He does have two funny quirks to look out for: he loves to inspect and try to pick up sidewalk trash, so his handler needs to keep an eye out for street debris. Also, if you stop moving, he likes to jump up on you for some quick attention, but he immediately stops and gets right back to business as soon as you keep walking.Stay tuned for details as we get to know them better! Limburger`s adoption fee is $350, and this wonderful boy is so excited to find a new best friend!

We expect her adult weight will be between 45 to 55 pounds. Please call (xxx) xxx-xxxx to meet Red! She is lives in Rochelle, IL 61068 Red is incredibly loving and loyal and enjoys following her people around the house just to be near them. She is affectionate, playful, and very people-oriented. Story
I rescued Rinny from the denton animal shelter in Denton Tx. He was 2 months old. He was raised on a farm with other dogs, a cat, 4 cows, and 2 horses. He was nuetered and has a chip. he was very easy to train and is very intelligent. He learned to help me herd my cows and horses on his own.he loves all animals and is very socialble. He is 4 yrs old. We recently moved to Chicago and are living in a 1 bed room apt. He tolerated the move well and has adapted to city life well. He has made many freinds here and gets along with everyone well. he misses the open spaces and would rather live outside in his dog house. He would rather live on a farm or large yard.
