Story
*** To alleviate the need to bring an animal into the shelter environment, The Anti-Cruelty Society has the Home-to-Home Shelter Bypass service to help people find new accommodations for their pets privately. These animals are not located in any of the Society`s physical locations. If you are interested in adopting this animal, please do NOT click the Adopt Me button and instead reach out to the current owner directly via the email provided in the profile. As this is a Home-to-Home animal you are not required to fill out an Anti-Cruelty Society adoption application form. *** He is microchipped and is up to date on his shots.Hunters last owner had cats that he didn’t mind to be around and another dog he played with but I will say he can be picky around some dogs it really just depends on how they react to each other. I’ve taken him to the dog park and he’s able to play with some but also can get snappy with others that bother him. Hunter loves kids every time I walk him kids want to pet him and he loves to be pet and he’s super gentle with them.He has a bit of a sensitive stomach to which I changed his diet for with a specific wet food from Costco but he still tends to get sensitive so adjusting his diet has been a process. No medications. He knows lots of tricks like sit, shake paw, speak. He is not neutered.Hunter is potty trained but needs to be walked 4-5 times a day otherwise he will have accidents. For adoption information, please email jadelopez01@gmail.com

Due to my wife's recent health issues, we are no longer able to keep our dear Chipilin. He is a wonderful dog, who loves the outdoors and especially his walks. He's well behaved and will make a great companion. I'm not sure how he gets along with other pets, but he has shown some aggression towards small dogs. He's healthy and will give you years of joy and happiness.

Story
Poppy is a sweet, energetic husky. She loves to play and wants to play all day long. She wants constant attention and love. She is good with other dogs though she can play a little rough sometimes. She loves to snuggle and sniff everything. She has a sensitive tummy so a food like Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach is recommended. She would benefit greatly from a yard as she wants to run and be active. She can be stubborn like any husky but she is the sweetest.

Story
Due to my wife's recent illness we have to give up our dogs for adoption. Petunia is a great companion and loves taking her walks and all kinds of nature. We've had her since she was 5 weeks old and she is now going on 5 years old. She gets along with everyone and our other dogs. We are hoping that she finds a kind and loving household who will love here through the rest of her life.

Story
Plume is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption application on our website to learn more about her and schedule a meet and greet with the foster. Plume is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Plume: Housebroken: Yes Crate trained: She has done best with free roam when home alone for up to 6 hours, after taking a short time to settle initially. She will need to keep working on this as she transitions to her new home. Leash walking: She can be very alert on leash, and can pull toward and bark at other dogs she sees on walks. She would benefit from continuing to work on loose leash walking with positive reinforcement, and would do best in a quieter neighborhood. Dog social: She has been selective with her dog pals and may be comfortable with some but not all. She has shown resource guarding behaviors with other dogs, and may do best as the only dog in her future home. Cat social: Unknown, but she has shown prey drive toward small critters on walks Kid friendly: Likely not a match, as she has shown resource guarding behaviors with people and can be excitable when greeting people. Plume likes: - Requesting belly rubs by rolling over, and nuzzling into you when you rub her neck/scruff - Using her brain to solve puzzles! - Bringing you a toy when she wants to play Plume is a stunning gal who is alert, intelligent, and will do well with someone who takes an active part in advanced training and exercise. Plume knows basic commands of sit, down, give paw, and she comes when called. She likes learning new things. Plume is sweet and loving with all people, but is selective with her dog friends and would need supervised introduction. She loves her walks, playing ball in the yard, tearing boxes, looking at the window, solving puzzles, and learning new things. She is waiting for her forever home, where with love, exercise, and training she can come into her own and be her best self and your best dog! Plume has been taking medication for anxiety support. She is heartworm positive and on activity restriction. She has been undergoing treatment at Ellis Clinic at no charge to the adopter. Heartworm is a treatable disease that most dogs make a full recovery from. You can learn more about heartworm treatment on our resource page - https://www.onetail.org/heartworm/ Plume's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous supporter, and she is ready to get all the belly rubs in her forever home! Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/ *** Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours. For additional questions, email adopt@onetail.org ***
