Story
Loki Poki`s Compatibility:Dogs - Plays well with others!Cats - No, thank you!Kids - Prefers adultsLoki Poki is the huskiest husky to have ever huskied! This quirky young Husky has a personality as unique as his name! Loki Poki was surrendered because his previous owner didn’t have enough time for him, but that just means he’s ready for a fresh start with someone who can match his energy and sense of fun.Loki Poki is housebroken and has made great strides in his crate training, though he still struggles with it at times. He can be a bit vocal and whiny when in the crate but eventually settles down. Loki has a strong prey drive, often lunging for squirrels, so a secure harness is a must. He enjoys going for runs (he’s made it up to 4 miles!) and loves his walks, but he does pull on the leash. He’s a bit possessive about his food, though, so he’ll need an adult-only home where his mealtime space is respected. Loki isn’t a fan of cats, but he’s open to meeting other dogs, so bring your pup by the shelter for a meet and greet!True to his Husky nature, Loki Poki is a hilarious character who loves to `woo` his way through life, always adding some vocal flair. With the right training and guidance, Loki will be the perfect companion for an active household that loves a bit of Husky weirdness!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas. Story
This is my baby Draco. It hurts to have to post this but I do. I am finally moving out of a bust down one bedroom apartment, and they will only let me take one of my dogs and I have to say she’s a service dog . My mom first adopted Draco when I was 15. She left him with her ex friend for around a year a half about 2 years after we had him. He was neglected and abused. He ended back up at the shelter and I was able to claim him. My original intent was to rehome him but I held on to him. But now that I can only take one dog I have to. He is a funny quirky loveable boy. He has bronchitis from allergies and needs to be given Benadryl twice a day to help him. I just recently took him to the vet where they told me this. He coughs, hacks, and wheezes but hopefully this will get better once he is on the Benadryl for a little bit. I would also please ask you take him to your vet and see what they recommend. Before adopting I will want to do a home visit and introductions between any other anim
