Story
Freya (or Freyja), from Old Norse origin meaning "Lady" or "noble woman," named after the prominent Norse goddess of love, beauty, fertility, war, and magic, who rides a chariot pulled by cats. The name embodies feminine energy, strength, and a connection to ancient mythology. My dog Freya lives up to this (except for the fertility part, of course). Freya is very sweet, loving, playful, and loves attention. She will need someone who can give her that. Freya is very loyal to her Person and will protect the ones she loves. She loves playing fetch and running in the backyard. I'm a paramedic and work long hours. I also have other commitments outside of work that I have to attend to. I love her so much but I can't give her what she needs. I need her to be happy though. Please help. Adopt her and love her. She deserves it. You'll see.

Story
Boo is a tricky story. She was saved with her sister as a baby off a farm when they ran free from the start of life. At eight weeks old, we took her and her sister in. She was very timid, hence the name Boo, and appears to be the runt. She is afraid of a lot of things. She does not like being on a lead and paces in her kennel due to anxiety. She has started Prozac, but we were told it could take a month or so to take full effect. She likes to bury her head in your lap and receive pets. If you are patient and looking for a dog that will love you forever and be right beside you, Boo is your girl. She is an indoor dog and will always need to be outside on a lead, in a tall fence, or learn to be leashed. She is a special girl and well worth the effort. A much quieter environment will make a world of difference.

Story
Meet Aristotle! This very special approximately 4-year-old boy is looking for a special home to call his own! He was found as a stray and is very timid with people. He has opened up A LOT to his foster family and loves to give kisses and cuddles, but new people and environments are still a struggle for him, and he will require an owner to have patience with him. He can and will go over a 6-foot fence, so he will need to be on a leash when outside. He is very much a husky in so many ways - independent, silly, and stubborn :) He is very dog friendly, and we will require him to go to a home with a confident dog that he can learn from. He gets excited to see cats, must mostly ignores them after the initial excitement wears off. We are working on house and crate training and he has been doing wonderfully, but he is very used to wearing a male wrap if needed. Aristotle's adoption fee is $100 and he will come fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee also includes a one-time training consultation with our training partner, It's a Breeze Dog Training, to help integrate him into your home! Interested in meeting Aristotle? Story
Hi! I’m a 1.5-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix with lots of energy and love to give. I’m about 90 lbs and absolutely love playing with other dogs — doggy daycare is one of my favorite places! I’m house trained, crate trained, and do well crated for 5-8 hours. I love toys (especially squeaky ones) and being close to my people. I do pretty well on leash but can get very excited when I see other dogs and may pull toward them. I also have a strong prey drive and would benefit from continued training to help with focus on walks. I can have some separation anxiety, so I’d do best in an active home with lots of companionship — another dog would be a big bonus. I am not good with cats or other small animals due to my strong prey drive. If you’re looking for a playful, social, and loyal companion, I might be your perfect match!
