Story
Pete is a lovable, energetic dog. He is almost 2 years old. He needs a home with a yard, and preferably someone who is home more often than not, with the patience to continue training him. He needs a home without cats. We do not know how he is with children or other dogs in the home, but there have been no issues with other short interactions. He likes to run and play and go for walks, but he also likes to hang out at home and snuggle once his energy is out. He is crate trained. He enjoys his peanut butter filled bones and apple yogurt treats. He’s been a wonderful dog, but he deserves a home where he can thrive.

Story
Blue`s Compatibility:Dogs - Let`s meet!Cats - Not a good fitKids - 16+Blue is a handsome husky mix with a busy brain and a whole lot of personality! He would be so happy with someone who enjoys an active dog and can give him fun ways to use his clever brain. He loves walks, puzzle toys, scent games, and learning new tricks. Training isn`t just a job for Blue. It`s a fun way for you both to bond and for him to show off how clever he is!Blue is a smart boy who already knows all about living in a home. He’s housebroken and crate-trained, so he’s ready to settle in with his new family. He’s made some dog friends here, so if you have a pup at home, bring them along for a meet-and-greet! He is still working on his grown-up manners, especially when he gets excited. Blue does best with people who can keep things steady, give him a little space at mealtime, and use fun trade-up games when needed. Because of this, he is looking for a home with kids 16 and older.Like many husky mixes, Blue has a little extra sparkle. If you are ready for a dog who will keep you smiling and needs someone to believe in him, Blue is your guy!

Story
Twilight is a 6 month old Siberian Husky/Carolina Dog mix. She was dropped off at IACS at 4 months old with a healing broken leg, a few broken teeth and severe dental issues that resulted in her having three teeth extracted. She was adopted in February by the neighbors of a coworker of mine who proceeded to either keeps her locked in a kennel inside that they wouldn’t clean out or keep her outside with no food or water outside of what my co worker was able to provide. About a month after she was adopted, she was dumped onto my coworker’s front lawn by her owner and kicked whenever she tried to go back to him. I have been fostering her since then, but have run out of time to be able to continue fostering her, due to my schedule keeping me from home for almost 10-12 hrs a day. She is a lovely, sassy little lady who loves playing, and attention, though is a bit nervous in new environments. She loves being outside, but will chase after any small creatures.

Story
I have named this dog Honey because I had to call her something. She is ok with my dogs, but I took her for a meet and great at one home and their dog did not like her. She is skittish when people come over and barks and howls at them, but she sniffs their hands when they lower them to her nose. She is very loveable once she warms up. I have seen her around my grandson's and daughter's cats, and she seems disinterested in them, but I'm not 100% positive. She settles down whenever I sit or go to bed and she is not overly hyper. She just needs some loving care and training. I think a one dog home might be best for her at first, but she has met other dogs and been ok once they sniff each other.

Koda`s Compatibility:Dogs - Has lived with dogs. Bring yours by and we’ll see if they clickCats - Has lived with catsKids - Has a good history with kidsKoda is a showstopper! This malamute and pittie mix is seriously handsome. He is a big boy with a sweet side, and now he is looking for a new home after his family had to move. Koda is housebroken, knows cues like sit, down, paw, and go to your room, and he is very food motivated, which makes training a great way to connect with him.Koda is a strong, active guy who loves walks and takes his sniffing very seriously! He can pull when he gets excited, so he will need someone ready for a dog with both strength and enthusiasm. He has lived with other dogs before and done well, but he prefers to keep his favorite toys and treats to himself, so his future home should be thoughtful about managing those things around other dogs.At home, Koda is happy to meet new people and has done well with kids. He gets so excited to say hello that he sometimes throws his whole body into his greetings! He is also a bit of a Houdini, so a secure yard and careful door watching will help keep him safe.Koda is a lot of dog in the best way. He is beautiful, smart, and full of personality, and he is ready to be somebody’s very lucky dog.
