- Busy pup who loves to connect with people through play and other activities; will likely enjoy physical activity and mental challenges to keep their bodies and brains busy- Prefers to explore and do their own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once they're in a home environment and have had time to decompress - Enjoys spending time with dogs who have a similar play style - Smart boy who knows sit, shake and down- Loves going on walks and does best with a harness- Loves to learn and has great focus - especially if you have treats - so would be a lot of fun to train Tends to be socially awkward with other dogs (dog intro recommended)- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended) This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. Oreo is a good dog who needs an experienced pet owner. Oreo requires lots of outside activity. He is part husky according to ARL so he often tries to escape on walkies but he listens well if you love on him. Oreo is 2 years old now born September 2023. He is a virgo boy who has his likes and dislikes. He doesn't like peanut butter but loves the taste of jerky, chicken and beef liver. His favorite thing is to lay around the house and snuggle with kiddos. I'd like to have him rehomed before Christmas this year so that he isn't waiting in a shelter for a family. He leaves home with a large crate, dog food, dog food bowls and holder, a leash, collar, harness and toys.
