We have recently come under some significant financial and medical hardship that has forced us to live in an environment not conducive to our dogs health and wellbeing. We are heartbroken to have to take these measures but we have tried to keep them and due to our living arrangements, and my husband's health ,we are no longer able to give them the life they deserve. Addie is 9 and Alexa is 8. We would love for them to go to a loving home with a big yard and lots of room to roam. They are both sweet and loving, but need a household without other pets and young children.

Meet Winnie, Sweet little Winnie was trying to fend for herself in a Houston park, she was following people around, begging for food, and sadly some people were not treating her well. She was being kicked and threatened regularly. Luckily, we were able to get to the park and scoop this beautiful girl up (and her handsome friend Boomer who has since been adopted). We think Winnie may be 1-1.5 years old. She has received all of her vaccines, a microchip and is spayed. She weighs about 42lbs. She is incredibly sweet and loving, trusting everyone. She's happy to give you a kiss and a cuddle. She even seems to be housetrained, keeping her crate nice and clean. She now has a full belly, she LOVES treats, a soft spot to sleep, and AC to keep her comfortable in this Texas heat! Next up, she really wants a family to call her own. Winnie does get along well with other dogs, but can resource guard her food. She should be fed separately. She is currently located in Houston TX, but we offer transport to New England (included in the fee). We have local directors, volunteers, and a foster to adopt option. Harper is a 3 year old Husky/Malamute mix who loves kids! She loves lounging on the couch and playing with squeaky toys. She LOVES to fetch and swim and goes on swimming adventures with her buddies. Her story started out sad: Harper was found with her puppies in a cardboard box on the side of a country road. She was doing her best to be a good mom and feed all her babies even though she was very skinny and had heartworms. All her beautiful puppies have found homes and now it's her turn. These two brothers unlocked an early Rescue memory of a dog I fell smitten with the first time down volunteering in Mississippi! Her name was Frankie. She came north soon after we met her, and she now is living a rescue dog’s dream with her forever family! The goal is and will be to do the same for these two brothers. Their eyes, ginger hair, and up ears are ridiculous in the cutest sense! SCAR and BROTHER are 7 months old, have playful puppy energy, and love treats and seem smart and eager to please! Scar has a scar on his head, and a slightly bent ear. In the video we saw of them (see comments) they took treats gently. They are dog friendly and are about 35 lbs!
