PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Posey! Millie is approximately 5 months old, 24 lbs currently, and she may have some husky in her mix! She was found as a stray and taken in by a Good Samaritan. In her foster home, she is still new to all of her important life skills so she will need a family who is ready to commit to continuing her positive reinforcement training. Puppy classes will be a must! She could join households with other playful dogs, kids 5+ and possibly dog-savvy cats (may chase). No apartments, please! Her foster says, `Posey is one of the sweetest most loving girls. She loves people, kids and attention. She will make a wonderful loving member to any family. She is so smart and silly, not to mention absolutely beautiful. She is ready to findher own family and so much love to give. Someone is going to be very blessed to add her to their home.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on September 11, or possibly earlier. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Mayhem **Not Available to Be Seen Until Open House on Wednesday 09/23** Good with Kids and Dogs! 9 weeks/10 lb./Male/Husky Mix Name: Mayhem Age: 9 weeks Weight: 10 lbs Breed: Husky Mix Status: Cute enough to cause a little Mayhem About Me: Hi, I’m Mayhem! With a name like mine, you probably have some expectations—but right now I’m just 10 pounds of fluffy puppy potential with a face that makes it pretty easy to forgive a little mischief. At only 9 weeks old, I’m just getting started. The world is brand new, and I have so much to learn, explore, sniff, and experience. I’m looking for a family who understands that behind this ridiculously cute face is a baby who will need patience, structure, training, socialization, and plenty of positive experiences as I grow. As a Husky mix, my future family should also be prepared to keep both my brain and my body busy. I’ll need appropriate exercise, enrichment, adventures, and continued training as I get older. Give me the right outlets, teach me all the good-dog things, and I have everything I need to turn a little Mayhem into one amazing best friend. Best Qualities: Full of puppy potential: At just 9 weeks old, I’m ready to start learning good habits and discovering the kind of dog I’m going to become. Adventure buddy in the making: I have a whole world left to explore and would love people who plan to take me along for the ride. Smart little mind to keep busy: Training, enrichment, games, and new experiences will give my growing puppy brain plenty to work on. A lifetime ahead of us: Adopt me now and you’ll get all the silly puppy stages, growing-up milestones, adventures, and years of companionship still to come. Ideal Match: Someone who sees an adorable Husky puppy and also understands the commitment behind those blue eyes! I’m looking for an active, involved family ready to provide training, socialization, mental enrichment, appropriate exercise, and consistency throughout puppyhood and beyond. Keep my mind busy, give me good outlets for my energy, make me part of your life, and we could cause the very best kind of Mayhem together. Deal Breakers: Looking for a couch potato: I may enjoy a good puppy nap, but I’ll need plenty of physical and mental activity as I grow. No time for puppy school: House training, leash skills, manners, and socialization are all still on my curriculum. Choosing me for my looks alone: Those baby blues are pretty convincing, but I need a family prepared for the needs of the grown-up Husky mix behind them. Fun Fact: For now, the only Mayhem I’m causing is making everyone stop what they’re doing to admire me.

Story
Meet Millie! Millie was found living on the streets, covered in fleas and suffering from a cough. Thankfully, she was rescued and has made a wonderful recovery. Now she's a happy, healthy, and playful puppy who is ready to find her forever home! Millie is a fun-loving girl who adores other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with. She is crate trained and does great in her kennel, with no accidents. When fully grown, she is expected to weigh around 40 pounds. Millie would thrive in an active family that can give her plenty of exercise, playtime, and love. She would especially enjoy having another playful dog in the home to help keep her entertained and burn off her puppy energy. If you're looking for a sweet, social, and affectionate companion, Millie may be the perfect addition to your family! ##2761935##
