Story
Coquito is 1.6 years old and is a husky/malamute mix with blue eyes. He was acquired from a breeder. Coquito is a strong boy on the outside but mushy and lovable on the inside. He does have alot of energy but given the right amount of run, play and attention, he is all yours. He is crate trained. Unfortunately, our home/work schedules have changed and we are unable to spend the needed time for/with him. Additionally, allergies for one of our children has gotten worse overtime. We are looking for a home/family that can provide him the time and attention needed.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Little Papaya is looking for just the right fit! This curious, shy, and at times skeptical 1 year old husky is looking for a home that has prior experience with dogs, and can understand dog body language. Papaya would do best in an adult only home, but may do well with other playful dogs. She has a fear of being handled around her neck, and needs folks who can go slow with her, and help build her confidence. Papaya is shy, but does feel more confident with other playful dogs. If you need to cuddle and snuggle a dog right upon meeting them, then Papaya would not be a good fit for you. If you have knowledge of huskies, and the things that make them happy PLUS the patience to help a very shy have the space to get to know you, Papaya might a great fit for your home. If you are interested in meeting Papaya, please visit our website worcesterarl.org and click on Papaya's photo to fill out the Dog Adoption Inquiry below her picture. That is the first step. All adoptions and meets are by appointment, thank you!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet gorgeous girl Prancer! This one year old spayed husky pup is looking for a home familiar with her breed. Prancer does great with all of of volunteer dog walkers and LOVES to be outside with her people. Prancer came to WARL as a stray and can't wait for a fresh start. She is looking for a home with access to a yard, and would not be happy in an apartment without immediate access to green space. Prancer can tolerate hanging out near other dogs, but her play style can lead to conflict so she is not looking to be a dog park/dog day care dog at this time, and would like to be the only dog. If there are to be kids in the home, they should be experienced with dogs, and approx. 10 yrs and up. Prancer would be a great walking, hiking buddy and has that amazing husky howl that folks who know huskies appreciate. If you think Prancer might be a great fit for your home, please head to our website worcesterarl.org and click on Prancer's photo to fill out the Dog Adoption Inquiry Form. That is the first step. All adoptions are by appointment, thank you!

Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Margo is a special girl is looking for her special home. Please read Margo's entire profile before inquiring or applying for her. Margo, is a spayed female, born around January 2022, and weighs approximately 55 -lbs. She is 50% Husky, 40% Poodle, and 10% Lab. Margo and her brother, Bowie, originally came from the south to a local shelter. The shelter determined that both dogs would thrive better in a foster home and they came to All Dog Rescue. While they are bonded and we would love to see them adopted together, they can be adopted separately. We prefer her new home has a confident resident dog who can help them become the best they can be, but will consider an 'only dog' home on a case-by-case basis. Margo adores being outdoors and is happy in the snow and hiking trails and walking through towns when she is in Maine. She also likes her walks when she is in Cambridge and in both locations hanging out in a fenced in yard. She has a ton of energy to burn and would love an active home. She does well in the car and is a fan-favorite at the dog park. Margo continues to progress with her social skills but still can be skittish. She can be leery of new people in her home. She may run away from new people or anxiously bark at them but shows no sign of aggression. She looks to other dogs in her home for guidance in these situations and will calm down if the other dog has appropriate behavior. She also gets anxious when her human is away. Margo is a work in progress and needs someone who is dedicated helping her continue to grow and thrive. The ideal situation for is an adult-only home with a confident, active, playful dog of a similar size and energy level that can help Margo continue to make strides. Her dog-savvy owner will need to continue with her positive training and be willing to work with a trainer. She will need someone who is home often or will bring her to doggie daycare until she gets more confident being on her own. This may be a lot to ask but seeing Margo happily play and grow more confident is more than worth it. Margo is microchipped, spayed, on flea/tick/heartworm preventive, and up to date on her shots. *Ask us about adopting Margo and her brother Bowie. Margo is being fostered in Newry, ME and Cambridge, MA. Her adoption fee is $450. If you think that your lifestyle is a good match for Margo, please apply for her at http://alldogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/adoption-application/ Margo's foster mom will be in touch within 48 hours.
