Story
Introducing Kida! This very special girl has been waiting for her people for quite awhile. She is a sensitive husky mix who is fearful in new or busy environments and can be worried about meeting new people, but in a quiet, predictable home with adopters who are ready to meet her where she`s at and let her set the pace, we feel confident that her silly and playful side will quickly start to shine through! When Kida is more comfortable, she enjoys playing fetch and loves toys, and she also loves to romp and zoom around our yard space during quieter times of day! If you`re interested in learning more about Kida, stop by during open adoption hours!

Story
These two brothers unlocked an early Rescue memory of a dog I fell smitten with the first time down volunteering in Mississippi! Her name was Frankie. She came north soon after we met her, and she now is living a rescue dog’s dream with her forever family! The goal is and will be to do the same for these two brothers. Their eyes, ginger hair, and up ears are ridiculous in the cutest sense! SCAR and BROTHER are 7 months old, have playful puppy energy, and love treats and seem smart and eager to please! Scar has a scar on his head, and a slightly bent ear. In the video we saw of them (see comments) they took treats gently. They are dog friendly and are about 35 lbs! We are hoping to secure forever families or fosters the end of the month! A share, like, comment, will help spread the word of these boys! Story
Scar is a beautiful boy that was found wandering as a stray with his brother, "Brother". They are being fostered together, and we are told that they are sweet, still have some puppy energy, and are two friendly boys. They love treats and both seem like they'll be very food motivated, which could be a positive tool to use in training. We are told that both are good with other dogs, but bark at cats. Scar is looking for a forever home that will give him the grace, time, and patience needed to learn what life in a home is like. In return, you'll receive a lifetime of love and loyalty. Scar is about 37 lbs and 7 months old. He gets the name Scar from a Scar found on front of his head .

Koda is a new arrival whose owner is in long-term facility and is no longer able to care for her. Kona is a local dog and has been raised in a home so will be a little out-of-sorts in the shelter environment. She's five and loves to go for long walks or hikes in the woods. She was raised as an only dog but will play with her neighbor's Standard Poodles. She will chase a cat so no cats, please. If you already have an application on file, please let us know if you're interested. Otherwise, please fill out our online application at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp and we'll get right back to you.
