Story
Ghost is a super goofy, lovable dog. He is looking for a very active, husky savvy home. He does well with other dogs & is also doing great with the kitten in his foster home. He enjoys going to the barn with his foster mom to visit all of the horses. He is a very social boy, and enjoys all the snuggles.

Story
Nanook here! I’m a one-year-old floofy gentleman ready to strut my fluff straight into my forever home. And yes… I know I’m handsome. It’s exhausting being this good-looking. Let’s get one thing straight — I am every bit the husky you’d expect: Energetic? Absolutely. A little stubborn? Occasionally. Cuddly? On my terms, obviously. Talkative? You bet. Smart? Smarter than I let on. And since we’re being honest… I’m not a beginner dog. Huskies are a working breed, which means we need structure, consistency, exercise, and mental stimulation. We can test boundaries, and if we get bored… well, we tend to invent our own fun (your shoes may not survive). In the right home though? We’re loyal, hilarious, adventurous companions. Someone familiar with huskies or other high-energy breeds would be my perfect match. I was found as a stray on one of those bitter cold days, but now I’m warm, safe, and ready for my next chapter. I love playing with other dogs, take cues well, know “sit,” and I’m doing pretty decent on leash. We’re still unsure how I feel about cats. If you want a smart, playful, ridiculously handsome sidekick who’ll keep life interesting — I’m your guy. Let’s turn this shelter stay into a “remember when.” — Nanook ⸻ THIS IS HOW THE ADOPTION PROCESS WILL WORK: Please send an e-mail to euclidpetpals2@yahoo.com if you are interested in Nanook. Once we receive your e-mail, we will forward you a pre-screening questionnaire. Once all pre-screening questionnaires have been reviewed, you will be contacted, IF CHOSEN, to schedule a meet and greet. Please note, adoptions are NOT on a first come, first served basis. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE SHELTER DIRECTLY OR MESSAGE US ON FACEBOOK. WE WILL NOT RESPOND TO ANY FACEBOOK MESSAGES OR PHONE CALLS!!

Story
Say hello to Atlas! He is a 1.5 year old Husky mix who weighs about 45 pounds. Atlas is a handsome fellow, but he can be quite sensitive in nature. He arrived in our care after being tied to a tree abandoned, so he is still learning to trust new people and new places. Once he knows you, he is a sweet and snuggly boy who loves sticking close to his favorite people. He may not enjoy going on adventures with you or exploring outside of his comfort zone, but with his favorite people he is a total lovebug. Atlas absolutely loves other dogs and thrives in an environment where he can have a canine companion to help build his confidence. Since he is so social with other dogs, he would prefer a home that has another dog so he can have a constant companion. Due to his sensitivity, if there are kids in his forever home he would do best with kids ages 13 and older that can give him space while he`s becoming comfortable. If Atlas looks like the pup for you, stop in today to meet this handsome boy!

Story
Meet Chaos!Chaos is a handsome, 10-year-old Husky gentleman with a soulful gaze and a quiet, thoughtful nature. True to his name, he’s not actually chaotic at all—he’s more of a slow-burn kind of guy who prefers to take his time getting to know new people. Once he feels safe and comfortable, Chaos shows his sweet, loyal side and forms deep bonds with his people. As you can see in his adorable video, once he knows you he is a bouncy and playful boy who loves to make the most of playtime!Because Chaos can be sensitive, he’s looking for a calm, patient home that understands that trust takes time. If there are kids in the home, we’re asking that they be 13 years or older, as Chaos does best with teens who can respect his space and read his cues. When it comes to other dogs, Chaos is still figuring out appropriate play and social skills. He may do well with a laid-back, chill canine companion who won’t overwhelm him and can help show him the ropes. At this time, we’re unsure how Chaos would do with cats in the home.Chaos would thrive with someone who appreciates a quieter companion and is willing to let him move at his own pace. If you’re looking for a loyal friend and believe the best relationships are built on patience and trust, Chaos might just be your perfect match. Stop in at The Humane Society of Summit County today to meet him!
