Story
Meet Duke! This striking boy is only 3 years old, and while he has plenty of energy and loves going on walks, he's always happy to crash on his bed afterwards. He is also 99% housebroken in shelter and keeps his kennel pretty clean! Duke loves romping around with doggy friends and does great in playgroups, but may try to chase cats or other small critters. If you want a dog who's the perfect mix of playful and laid back, Duke may be the one for you!

Story
Nora is a wonderful, beautiful, sweet Husky, who we rescued at the end of 2024. She is a dream to walk and run with. She does well with our 7 and 10yo kids and our other dog (10lb) and cat but we introduced them gradually. According to the staff where she boards, she does well with older male dogs. We have become too busy to be able to provide her with the amount of exercise and attention she deserves so want to find her a better suited family. She would be great with a person or family that goes hiking or running regularly. She is still a husky so some experience is probably helpful.

Story
Meet Twisted!Twisted is a three-year-old Siberian Husky mix weighing about 45 pounds, with a soulful gaze and a heart that just needs a little time to shine. He can be sensitive and somewhat shy when meeting new people, so he appreciates slow, respectful introductions that allow him to feel safe and comfortable. Because of this, we’re recommending that any children in his forever home be around 10–13 years old or older and able to understand his need for space at first.Once Twisted warms up, his sweet and affectionate personality truly blossoms. He loves cuddle sessions just as much as a good play session and enjoys bonding closely with his people. When he trusts you, he’s incredibly loyal, loving, and eager to be by your side. When it comes to other dogs, Twisted can sometimes come on a bit forward or unsure during introductions, which can make him feel uncomfortable. However, he does show potential to live with another canine companion. A slow, patient, and structured introduction will be very important to help set him up for success. At this time, we do not know how Twisted does with cats.Twisted is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give him the time he needs to settle in — and in return, he’ll offer deep devotion, affection, and plenty of husky charm. Stop by today at The Humane Society of Summit County to meet him!

Application Link: https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/ARH-A-20 Adoption Fee: $310 All dogs are fixed, up-to-date on age appropriate shots and micro-chipped. What a loyal girl. Soki is about 3 years old, about 65lbs, and a husky boxer mix. She is slow to trust but once she does, you will have a dog that loves you like no other. She is a queen and with that comes some sass from her husky heritage. She can carry on a conversation and loves to sit on the dining table chairs when doing so. I have had many dogs doing rescue and none can match her personality or devotion. She is not the best with cats and can be dog selective. Does not do well with bossy dogs.

Story
Skye is a beautiful female red and white Siberian husky with sky blue eyes. She is about 35 pounds of putre love, a little shy but velcro once she knows you. We think she might be a Pomsky (Pomeranian/husky) as small as she is.  She likes other dogs and is okay with cats. She would be a great addition to any family. She loves children. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go to her new home. To adopt this sweetheart, please do our non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org. Her adoption fee is $350. Any questions, email marty@pawsandprayers.org .July 23, 2026, 3:39 pm
