Maisy was doing her best "Cheese!!" smiles for her santa pics, so even though it's after Christmas, she begged for us to still use them!! This sweet 8 1/2 month old girl has been in boarding and training for 3 weeks, and is doing great. She seems to really thrive having other dogs around to love on and play with, so we are asking for friendly dogs in her new home. She has learned sit, down, and stay like the little champ she is! We do not know how she will do with cats though, and we are asking for older children only. If you would like to be considered to adopt this beautiful girl, don't delay! Her adoption fee is $200, and includes all vetting. Spay, vaccines, microchip, flea tick and heartworm prevention, and endless love from a rescued dog! Say hello to Atlas! He is a 2 year old Husky mix who weighs about 45 pounds. Atlas is a handsome fellow, but he can be quite sensitive in nature. He arrived in our care after being tied to a tree abandoned, so he is still learning to trust new people and new places. Once he knows you, he is a sweet and snuggly boy who loves sticking close to his favorite people. He may not enjoy going on adventures with you or exploring outside of his comfort zone, but with his favorite people he is a total lovebug. Atlas absolutely loves other dogs and thrives in an environment where he can have a canine companion to help build his confidence. Since he is so social with other dogs, he would prefer a home that has another dog so he can have a constant companion. Due to his sensitivity, if there are kids in his forever home he would do best with kids ages 13 and older that can give him space while he`s becoming comfortable. Oh Marco 💗 Gosh you are such a goober. I can’t even describe you without a huge grin plastered across my face 😁 You are adorably ditzy and so, so sweet and affectionate ❤ Marco is a little shy when meeting new people but takes all of 2 minutes to warm up. He approaches and becomes sillier and more affectionate by the minute. He does a C shape lean into you for pets and hugs, and as you’re doing that, he leans in for kisses 💗. If you greet him with excitement, he matches your energy. He does silly hops around you, matches your dance with tippy paws. Outside, Marco is all about checking out the environment. He pulls slightly and zigzags in front of you as if he has a destination. He sniffs, he explores, puts on his selective hearing ear buds and completely ignores you until he has his fill of his surroundings and then he suddenly remembers you are there. He then comes to you and does his signature leans. Wants your love, pets and cuddles😊 This adorable comic is so silly, he doesn’t know how to navigate his way around snow. He slips and loses his balance while running through the snow. He plants face down into the snow 😃. Unheard of for a Husky! Full disclosure Marco does not know any commands currently. He looks at you adoringly with a twinkle in his eyes when you try to teach him commands. Otherwise, Marco is a surprisingly low key, low maintenance adorable Husky. He is wonderful in a crate. Does great with kids and dogs. He is an overall sweet, awesome boy! Marco is a year old, 50lb Siberian Husky. He is looking for a semi-active family who could provide him with a balance of outside adventures and inside cuddles. He is an affectionate pup so a home with doesn’t mind traces of his fur on the couch is great!

Freddy is a 3 year-old male Husky mix. Freddy came in with his brother Draco, but he is not good with other animals and will need to be the only animal in his home. He loves his toys, and his playful spirit will keep you entertained for hours! Freddy walks very well on a leash, and even better on a harness! He likes going on walks, but he will need to stop you a couple times because petting him is more important than anything else. Freddy is a very simple dog who knows what he wants in life, spray cheese, blankets, and a loving home. He isn't very photogenic, but we swear he is even cuter in person. If you don't believe us come check him out yourself! Dogs are available to meet before their adoption date. The Dog Shelter's adoption fee is $64 (cash or check). All dogs come with DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, microchipped, a current year dog license, and a certificate to be spayed or neutered (The Dog Shelter pays for it). If it is an owner surrender dog, more vaccine information may be provided. Our hours are Monday thru Friday 10AM-12:30PM and 1PM-4PM and Saturdays 10AM to 2PM. You must be present to adopt and have a current approved adoption application.
