Story
Meet Nala, the adorable 3-year-old Husky/Malamute mix, is in search of her forever family! She came to us after being surrendered. She's now in a much better place and ready to find a loving home where she can thrive. Nala is a mischievous, silly, funny girl who will certainly keep you on your toes! Her stubborn nature adds to her charm, and she knows just how cute she is. When you try to get her inside when she doesn't want to go, she'll swoosh that fluffy tail around, giving you a side-eye or a smile. Toys of all kinds make Nala ecstatic, and she's a big fan of treats too! However, she prefers the chewy, good treats over plain biscuits. This little lady knows what she likes. Having spent a fair amount of time outdoors in her prior life, Nala may initially be unfamiliar with certain household noises. She can be a bit skittish if she’s unsure, so a patient and understanding home would be ideal for her. Nala will REQUIRE a secure fence yard. She also REQUIRES a household experienced with Huskies or Malamutes. These breeds have specific needs and temperaments that require a certain level of understanding. We also do not recommend households with children under 10 years old for this gal. Despite her quirks, Nala is incredibly loving. She adores getting her ears and butt scratched, and she'll soak up all the affection you give her. Nala enjoys playing fetch and already knows commands like "drop" and "sit." While Nala is dog-friendly, we're unsure about her compatibility with cats. ‼️Please note, Nala’s adoption is NOT on a first come, first served basis. Applications will be screened with a pre screening questionnaire. If you are interested, please email us at euclidpetpals2@yahoo.com for the prescreening questionnaire ‼️

Story
Luna is looking for a new home at no fault of her own. Her owner was trying to give her away to several people in a store. One of the employees knew that she could end up in a very bad situation and offered to take her and now is looking for a permanent, loving forever home for her. Luna is a goofy, loving and very sweet 6 year old Husky who weighs 43 pounds. She loves snoozing at your feet just as much as she loves long walks. Luna is playful and just learning how to play with toys. She really enjoys basking in the sun. Luna has a bit of separation anxiety and would make an incredible work from home Coworker. She loves most other dogs but has shown resource guarding with her food. She has been doing well in training and is very food motivated. Luna is housetrained. She does not like to be a confined in a cage so her foster parents put her in a separate room when they leave. She would prefer to be with her people. We are unsure of how she would do with cats. Luna does go to work with her foster mom most days and she greets a lot of people and dogs at the store and is generally great meeting everyone! Luna is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. UPDATE: She’s had a dental cleaning and several teeth extracted. And we were happy to learn that, based on X-rays done while she was under anesthesia, she does not have hip dysplasia as suspected! Please consider opening your heart and home to this beautiful girl. If you are interested in adopting Luna, please complete an adoption application on our Dogs Unlimited Rescue website at: https://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/adoptables.html

Story
Say Hello to Stormi!Stormi is a 6 year old Husky who weighs 58lbs! Stormi can be shy when meeting new people, so it may take him a little patience and some yummy treats to win him over. Stormi would love nothing more than to take walks with you or just sit in the grass and enjoy the breeze. He is a pretty easy-going guy who wouldn't mind to stop and smell the roses. Stormi can be picky with his cannine friends so a proper introduction is a must - he also wouldn't mind being the only pet. Due to his overall sensitivity with new people his forever home needs to be adult only. If Stormi sounds like the dog for you give us a call at: 330-487-0333 ex.226

Story
To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.   Tahoe is a very handsome 1.5 year-old Husky/Cattle Dog mix neutered male who originally came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter in summer 2021. He was adopted in January but recently returned after about 4 months due to his owner’s health issues. Tahoe is super dog-friendly and loves to play and wrestle with other dogs so he is definitely going to need a home where he’ll have a playful canine buddy. He will also need a yard with a secure aboveground fence. Tahoe can be shy and fearful when meeting new people so would do best in a home in a quiet neighborhood or rural area where he doesn’t have to meet strangers continually. In our experience, he seems to be more wary of men initially than women but while he’s been in our care, he tends to warm up quickly to new people especially if there are other dogs around to boost his confidence. Tahoe is very food-motivated and responds quickly when yummy treats are in the offing. He was housetrained in his previous home and is also crate-trained. Tahoe walks nicely on a leash and knows basic commands as well. This boy needs a calm, confident owner who has the time and patience to allow him to adjust to his new home in his own time. Tahoe weighs about 45 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Tahoe. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Please visit our website at www.caninelifeline.org to see more photos of Tahoe and to submit an online application.June 8, 2023, 2:47 pm
