Story
To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.   Tahoe is a very handsome 1.5 year-old Husky/Cattle Dog mix neutered male who originally came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter in summer 2021. He was adopted in January but recently returned after about 4 months due to his owner’s health issues. Tahoe is super dog-friendly and loves to play and wrestle with other dogs so he is definitely going to need a home where he’ll have a playful canine buddy. He will also need a yard with a secure aboveground fence. Tahoe can be shy and fearful when meeting new people so would do best in a home in a quiet neighborhood or rural area where he doesn’t have to meet strangers continually. In our experience, he seems to be more wary of men initially than women but while he’s been in our care, he tends to warm up quickly to new people especially if there are other dogs around to boost his confidence. Tahoe is very food-motivated and responds quickly when yummy treats are in the offing. He was housetrained in his previous home and is also crate-trained. Tahoe walks nicely on a leash and knows basic commands as well. This boy needs a calm, confident owner who has the time and patience to allow him to adjust to his new home in his own time. Tahoe weighs about 45 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Tahoe. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Please visit our website at www.caninelifeline.org to see more photos of Tahoe and to submit an online application.May 27, 2023, 5:47 pm

Story
Enzo is your typical husky, he's ready to run and be on the go. This fuzzy guy will take a break from the action to sit when asked and take a treat as reward for using his doggie breaks. Enzo loves the pool and anything related to the great outdoors! This boy has bounce and will need to be leashed, even if his backyard is fenced. Due to his energetic nature and feelings about being groomed, Enzo is seeking an active adult home.

Hi! My name is Felix! I am pretty new at the kennel and the staff/volunteers are still getting to know me, but here is some basic information: I'm about 6 years old. I am a sweet active pup! I am very playful and I know sit. COURTESY POST: Sweet Jax is in need of a new home.  Jax will be 2 in March and in January of 2022, Jax had to have hip surgery.  He's in the clear now according to OSU but he has pent up puppy energy now and needs someone who can handle his exuberance.  Jax is fully vetted, crate trained, basic training but does seem to lift his leg on occasion.  Jax currently lives with another male dog, cats and 2 very young girls. Jax would benefit from a home with either current or proven prior Husky experience and a fence IS A MUST for this boy!  Kids over 6 please as they scare him and he cries.   He needs to be able to be a "puppy"!  For more information, please email us at forgetmenot_animalrescue@yahoo.com and we will be happy to answer your questions or hook you up with his owner. May 16, 2023, 12:13 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet our Circus puppies! Barnum is an adorable 7 month old Husky/Pit Bull mix that was surrendered to us along with his sister, Bailey, as the previous owner didn't have the funds to be able to care for them. Barnum is a playful, active puppy who loves everyone he meets! He adores other dogs, and will romp and wrestle with them for hours on end. He's interested in the resident cats in his foster home, but is gentle and respectful of them. He's good at occupying himself if necessary, and will quietly chew on bones during downtime. He's also very sweet and cuddly, and when it's time for naps, he loves to snuggle with people and other animals.Barnum is a smart boy and learned sit and lay down in only a couple of days! He knows his name, and his recall gets better each day. He's working on house and crate training, and doing well with both. However, he's still learning, so his family will need to be prepared to continue to work with him on puppy basics.Barnum's a great little pup that would be a wonderful addition to just about any household! He greatly enjoys the company of other dogs, and would do best with another playful pup in his forever home.Barnum is 7 months old, currently 50 lbs, and we guesstimate that he'll be around 60 lbs or so when fully grown. He's neutered, up to date on vaccines, is microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $450.  Please click here to submit an adoption application!  If you'd like any additional information, please email us at newleashrescue@gmail.com.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 24, 2023, 3:51 pm

Story
Mia was adopted from the Dallas, TX animal shelter in 2022. She is very high energy but super friendly. She enjoys being near everyone and being included in her owner plans, whatever they may be. Her favorite activities are swimming, running, barn hunts and simply playing with a ball in the backyard. Since she is high energy, she will require a lot of attention and physical/mental exercise. With new and recent health issues, I am unable to provide the lifestyle she needs and deserves.
