This handsome guy came to us through no fault of his own when his previous owner’s work schedule didn’t leave enough time for him. Now he’s ready for a fresh start with someone who can give him the attention he deserves.Waylon is fantastic with kids, gets along great with female dogs and smaller dogs, and is a total sweetheart once he knows you. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and already knows his manners—sit, shake, lay down, stay? Nailed it.That said… if left uncrated too long, his mischievous side might come out (think “curious husky energy,” not chaos).This boy has a high energy level and lives for agility courses, running and car rides, toys, toys, and more toys. He also enjoys playing in water. Waylon would thrive in a home where someone is around often, because he doesn’t love being left alone for long. He’s affectionate, easy-going, playful, and always happy to be by your side once he bonds with you. Compatibility with cats and small furry pets is currently unknown.Waylon is available through our foster-to-adopt program, which includes neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and heartworm testing. Mika is a 2½-year-old Husky with a fluffy coat, a big personality, and just the right amount of classic Husky sass. This beautiful lady enjoys spending time in doggie playgroup and socializing with other dogs, but she isn’t afraid to show off her spicy Husky side when she feels the moment calls for it. She knows what she likes and isn’t shy about expressing herself! Mika absolutely loves going on walks and shows off top-notch leash manners, making her a wonderful companion for daily strolls or neighborhood adventures. After a walk, she’s all about a little “me time.” One of her favorite things is being brushed, which helps keep her gorgeous coat looking its best—and gives her a chance to relax and enjoy some quiet attention. While Mika enjoys affection from her people, she prefers it on her own terms and isn’t the biggest fan of hugs. Because of this, she’s looking for a home with children 8 years of age and older who can respect her space and understand her boundaries. And yes—Mika may be a little chunky, fluffy, and well-fed looking, but she wears it beautifully and carries herself with confidence. If you’re looking for a fun, independent, and fluffy companion with a dash of Husky attitude and great walking skills, Mika may be the perfect addition to your family!
