Ghost has an adoption pending....wish him LUCK! Meet Ghost!! Ghost is approximately 2 years old. He is a beautiful Siberian Husky weighing 40 lbs. Ghost was found as a stray. Love-A-Stray had him neutered, vaccinated and microchipped at the Avon Lake Animal Clinic. Ghost's foster said he is really a wonderful dog! He is housebroken and knows a few basic commands. His foster has offered to take Ghost to obedience training, and he will be evaluated with other dogs as well. Stay tuned for updates. Ghost has dark ice-blue eyes, and he often looks like he is smiling when taking a walk--he LOVES to go for trail walks and does well on lead. Ghost also loves to ride in the car. He is a pleaser and thrives on praise and is very trainable. We always suggest adopters are familiar with the Husky. A fenced in yard is preferred for this active breed and a really good vacuum cleaner since they do shed LOL. If you are interested in Ghost, please submit an online application so we can learn a little about you to make sure Ghost would be a good match for you and your family. We do not do out of state adoptions, due to our trial adoption process. Meet Tundra! This beautiful petite husky is 6 years and 36 lbs. Stunning is an understatement! Tundra is aptly named - her coat is white and black with some maple color on her tail. Tundra was a mill momma for many years but not any more. Tundra is fixed now and ready for life as a cherished pet! Pictures make Tundra look bigger than she is when you see her in person. Tundra is shy but learning how to be a dog by being exposed to many new things in life! She's progressing well. Tundra walks well on leash, and we have dog-tested her with another female TRI dog, Daphne, who is also on the passive side. They did well together.
