Story
🖤ADOPT BLUES🖤 M | 5Y | 29 KG | Mixed Breed | Neutered | UTD on shots | Housebroken | Good with dogs | Not cat and kid tested | Likely good with dog savvy kids | Fostered in London, ON After spending the last 5 years of his life working for an industrial sled dog operation, Blues is ready to kick up his paws and enjoy retirement! He acts just like a puppy in many ways and is very happy-go-lucky. Blues loves being around his people and will never say no to hugs and kisses. He would love to be your shadow all day if you let him! Blues may not understand the intricacies of a new environment, but he's happy to be along for the ride. His ideal day would include lots of cuddles and some high-energy activities like running or chasing. Blues has made lots of progress acclimating to an indoor space and is no longer afraid of the stairs, tile floors, or reflective surfaces! Despite difficulties with crate training and basic obedience training, Blues has been trying his best and is great at recall. Blues has also had some issues with resource guarding but is getting better with consistent encouragement and the guarantee of a safe space with a closed door during food time. As Blues is not big on crate training, he has broken out of his crate on a few occasions. Because of his love for inanimate objects, Blues will inhale the first object in his reach when bored and alone, which means he needs to be watched closely by his forever family. Blues has had medical complications related to this but is now feeling much better. As long as Blues is monitored, he is the sweetest boy you could ever meet! Blues is currently fostered with two doggy siblings and is great at interacting with them. He is very comfortable with the pack dynamic and being with his siblings has helped build his confidence! He has not met any kids but judging from his instant affection around new people, he may do well with dog-savvy kids. He has also not met any cats. This love bug is looking for his forever family to provide all the love and attention he needs! If you're looking for a sweet and happy dog always ready to be at your side, Blues is the dog for you! Story
Pebbles | Female | 16 Weeks | Husky Mix| Dogs: Yes | Cats: Yes | Kids: Yes Meet Daisy! Daisy came down south with her brothers and sisters to find a new family! Daisy is a typical husky mix gal! She’s got a lot of energy and curiosity to do all the things! Pebbles would love a big backyard or an active person to get her energy out. Pebbles is a smart pup and is very food motivated. She is eager to learn and should be easy to train. Pebbles is fearless when it comes to many things… she loves to explore, that includes climbing and jumping and running all over the place. As mentioned before someone that is active, maybe goes on lots of hikes would really be ideal to Pebbles! She loves being outside and exploring the world. Although they may be cute, puppies are a lot of work! Puppies need families that are home often to continue working on their house training and socialization. Their adoptive family must be committed to registering them for obedience classes. Daisy is current on age appropriate vaccines. She is being fostered in Cambridge, ON. ? Story
Chinook | Male ♂️ | 12 Weeks Old | Husky Mix 🐺 | Dogs: Yes | Cats: No | Kids:Yes Dating Bio: I love running in the yard, looking to find someone who can.play a good tug of war. Adoption Bio: Chinook loves going on walks around the neighborhood and stopping to sniff whatever is on his path. He loves to wrestle and play tug with his Labrador foster sister Willow. He sometimes gets the zoomies and loves running around in the yard like a race car. He LOVES playing with toys and laying on his bed chewing them. When he’s tired he snuggles up with his foster sister. Although he needs work with crate and house training he is a very fast learner and has improved so much since he came to stay with his foster home. He is good with basic commands such as “sit”, “lay down”, “leave it”, and “stay”. He does still bite sometimes in a playful way, but his fosters are working really hard to stop that and he is doing very well! Chinook has never been around cats so we don’t know how he will react with them. He is quite vocal and barks often, we are working on manners for that. He does a very good husky howl that is just the cutest. Chinook is current on vaccinations. He is located in Guelph, Ontario. 📌Apply to Adopt at the link in our bio!

Story
Taffy | Female | 14 Weeks | Northern Mix | Dogs: Yes | Cats: Yes | Kids: Yes Taffy was one of 8 born to the wonderful Tootsie Roll on Jan 27th! Little Miss Taffy is such a sweet, fun, loving, loyal pup! Her whole body wiggles when she wags her tail. She exudes happiness! She really enjoys car rides and is very calm, she usually falls asleep within minutes. She enjoys riding shotgun. She comes to work with me and spends most of the day sleeping or relaxing with a bone under my desk and you wouldn't even know she's there. She does like to have little play breaks here and there. (Don't we all?!) Taffy LOVES to play! She enjoys anything that squeaks, playing tug of war and fetch. Taffy would benefit from a fenced yard as she loves to run and play.  Taffy is a typical curious puppy so she needs to be supervised or contained so her curiosity/boredom doesn't get her into trouble with chewing things she shouldn't. Taffy is very interested in people food but we are working on that and she settles quick once she realizes she's not getting any.  Taffy has met some children and has been nervous upon meeting them as she is with meeting any new people but she was gentle. I think she would be great with children who know how to act around puppies. She's great with our teenagers. Taffy loves to be out exploring on nature walks where we can get away from the hustle and bustle of people and cars. She likes to chase blowing leaves and bugs! Taffy can be quite nervous if there are new people or other dogs around but she is getting more confident on our street. We've been spending time sitting outside the front of the house to build her confidence. Initially she usually tries to run back to the house but then she'll just and watch as they walk by. We will be working on slow introductions to show her how fun other dogs can be.  Taffy loves working/thinking for her meals, especially when her kibble is wrapped in a dish cloth and tied in a knot! Just eating out of the bowl is a bit boring for her but she will do that sometimes.  Taffy can sit and usually comes when she's called. We're working on lay down, stay and shake a paw. She's doing very well with house training! She's very good about doing her business quickly when she goes out and usually  goes to the door when she needs to go out. We are working on crate/pen training. She does enjoy being in crates to have a treat or chew on a bone so it's going well. It may be due to her age but she does seems to have some separation anxiety.  Currently she has not been left alone as she gets quite anxious but we're confident that with continued crate training this will improve.  Taffy was of course an adorable teeny puppy but she is really growing into her looks and is a stunning dog with beautiful markings. People often compliment her on her beautiful colours and appearance. She has unique hind legs with double dew claws on her back feet. Taffy is a lovely girl, she will make an awesome addition to a family! Although they may be cute, puppies are a lot of work! Puppies need families that are home often to continue working on their house training and socialization. Their adoptive family must be committed to registering them for obedience classes. Taffy is current on age appropriate vaccines. She is being fostered in Cambridge, ON. 📌 Apply to Adopt! ⬇️ https://forms.gle/eUHpAWmHhUvmVQ8C6
