Story
🖤ADOPT BLUES🖤 M | 5Y | 29 KG | Mixed Breed | Neutered | UTD on shots | Housebroken | Good with dogs | Not cat and kid tested | Likely good with dog savvy kids | Fostered in London, ON After spending the last 5 years of his life working for an industrial sled dog operation, Blues is ready to kick up his paws and enjoy retirement! He acts just like a puppy in many ways and is very happy-go-lucky. Blues loves being around his people and will never say no to hugs and kisses. He would love to be your shadow all day if you let him! Blues may not understand the intricacies of a new environment, but he's happy to be along for the ride. His ideal day would include lots of cuddles and some high-energy activities like running or chasing. Blues has made lots of progress acclimating to an indoor space and is no longer afraid of the stairs, tile floors, or reflective surfaces! Despite difficulties with crate training and basic obedience training, Blues has been trying his best and is great at recall. Blues has also had some issues with resource guarding but is getting better with consistent encouragement and the guarantee of a safe space with a closed door during food time. As Blues is not big on crate training, he has broken out of his crate on a few occasions. Because of his love for inanimate objects, Blues will inhale the first object in his reach when bored and alone, which means he needs to be watched closely by his forever family. Blues has had medical complications related to this but is now feeling much better. As long as Blues is monitored, he is the sweetest boy you could ever meet! Blues is currently fostered with two doggy siblings and is great at interacting with them. He is very comfortable with the pack dynamic and being with his siblings has helped build his confidence! He has not met any kids but judging from his instant affection around new people, he may do well with dog-savvy kids. He has also not met any cats. This love bug is looking for his forever family to provide all the love and attention he needs! If you're looking for a sweet and happy dog always ready to be at your side, Blues is the dog for you! Kuma 🐻| Spayed Female ♀️ | 1.5 Years old | Northern Mix 🐺 | Dogs: Yes | Cats: No | Kids: Yes Dating Bio: Ready for a whirlwind romance full of bear hugs and kisses. Adoption Bio: Kuma is a very affection driven pup. She likes to get close and give you kisses to show she cares.  Kuma gave birth to a big litter of NINE Northern mix puppies who all looked like cubs and were given famous bear names: Baloo, Winnie, Kodiak, Koda, Kenai, Fozzi, Corduroy, Po, and Paddington. Most have since found homes ( Baloo, Koda, and Fozzi are all still available) and it's mama bear’s turn. She is happy just to lay around the house, cuddled up by the window or on one of the beds. She also loves to be outside. Anytime the door is opened, she is ready to go.  Kuma has also really started to enjoy walks and all the smells that come with it. She is still learning the ways of the leash, she does tend to pull, but knows when you stop she has to come back to position. She enjoys playing with toys in the backyard on her own, throwing a ball and then running after it. She also loves squirrels and seems to think at some point she will catch one! She is not a fan of being home alone and does get some separation anxiety. She is not 100% confident with strangers so she can be timid at times. She is starting to get used to traffic, but it's not one of her most favorite things in the world. She is crate and house trained, ready for a forever home. She is such a sweet girl, very loving and just wants her people to know she loves them. Kuma is spayed and current on vaccinations. She is located in Kitchener, ON. 📌Apply to Adopt at the link in our bio.

Butter 🧈 | Male ♂️ | 1 Year Old | Husky Mix 🐺 | Dogs: Yes | Cats: Yes | Kids: Yes Dating Bio: Looking for someone to share a bed with (warning, may hog the covers). Must love butter, no margarine lovers for me. Adoption Bio: Meet Butter (nicknamed Butt Butt) loved walks, fetch, and being brushed (🦄 unicorn dog). While a bit shy, Butter is a playful, love bug, couch potato who is affectionate, cuddly, smart, quiet, friendly, gentle, and good natured. Butt Butt is a very sweet dog. He's still very underweight, but his foster is working on getting him to eat more, without giving him too many foods that are bad for him. He occasionally sleeps in bed with his foster human, but if he finds it too hot, he finds a comfy spot down to the main level of the house. He's independent, but his personality is coming out more and more each day. Initially, he didn't react to seeing the leash, but now that he knows that walks are meant for his enjoyment, he gets excited. He still needs improvement with commands, but he's learning and is housetrained. He is current on age appropriate vaccines and is being fostered in Pickering, ON. 📌Apply to Adopt at the link in our bio. https://forms.gle/rJfNgo5PYSKgzn5p8

Georgia | Female | 13 Weeks | Northern Mix | Dogs: Yes | Cats: Yes | Kids: Yes Georgia! This beautiful little lady is an active pup that would love to find a f ally that spends a lot of time outdoors. Whether you’re an avid hiker, or obsessed gardener. She just wants to be outside with you whatever it is that’s on the agenda. Georgia is very playful and would be good in a home with other pets. Or as a single dog… she’s not picky! She is super loving and affectionate and her stunning eyes who’ll melt your soul. Although they may be cute, puppies are a lot of work! Puppies need families that are home often to continue working on their house training and socialization. Their adoptive family must be committed to registering them for obedience classes.
