I am looking to rehome Speedy, who has been with me for 11 years. I love this dog with all my heart but changes in personal circumstances does not allow me to give her the care that she deserve. Despite her age, she is very health and enjoys long walks and jogs.

AGE: 1 Year SEX: Female BREED: Husky Mix ENERGY LEVEL: Medium DOG FRIENDLY?: Yep! CAT FRIENDLY?: Yep! KID FRIENDLY?: Likely! FOSTER IG: @meet_thefosters Meet Millie! This sweet, playful girl has a gentle, lovable personality that instantly wins people over. She enjoys cuddling just as much as she loves to play and brings a soft, joyful energy to everything she does. Millie is generally quiet and easygoing, and while she can be a little shy, she truly blossoms with reassurance and kind guidance from her people. Millie absolutely adores other dogs and lights up around her canine friends. She loves playing with them and greets dogs nicely and happily on walks, clearly enjoying their company. She has also done well meeting a cat indoors and has shown she can be cat friendly. Given her gentle nature, Millie would likely do very well in a home with kids. She lives in a busy area and handles it well, taking everyday sights and sounds in stride. While sudden noises may occasionally surprise her, she adjusts quickly and carries on with her tail wagging. When meeting new people, Millie may start off shy, but with a little encouragement she becomes very friendly and eager to soak up attention and affection. At home, Millie is house trained and knows several cues, including sit, come, and wait. She is also crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night, though she may politely remind you if you sleep in a bit too long! She benefits from positive reinforcement and gentle encouragement with things like getting into the car or taking a bath, and she responds beautifully to supportive guidance. With her sweet nature, playful spirit, and love of both dogs and cuddles, Millie would thrive in a home ready to offer reassurance, consistency, and plenty of love. If you’re looking for a happy, dog-friendly companion with a heart of gold, Millie may be the perfect match! Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Millie? AGE: 7 months SEX: Female BREED: Husky Mix ENERGY LEVEL: Medium DOG FRIENDLY?: Yep! CAT FRIENDLY?: Untested KID FRIENDLY?: Likely! FOSTER IG: @lolathenorthernmix Meet Lola! This playful, energetic girl is full of joy and absolutely loves to move. Zoomies are one of her specialties, and she’s happiest when she can run around, explore her surroundings, and investigate everything the world has to offer. Lola enjoys enrichment activities and chewing on her toys, which keep her busy and satisfied. At the end of the day, she transforms into a total love bug - she adores being snuggled, follows her people from room to room, and will gently nudge you with her nose to ask for pets and affection. Lola is confident and social, greeting new people with ease and enthusiasm. She’s not shy at all and becomes comfortable immediately, happily engaging with visitors - she recently had a guest over and loved every minute of playing with her. Lola does well in a busy, downtown environment and takes the hustle and bustle in stride. She’s smart and eager to learn, already knowing sit and stay, sitting patiently while waiting for her meal to be placed down, and currently learning paw. She’s also house trained, understands the word “crate,” and will go in when asked. At night, she sleeps soundly in her crate. On walks, Lola can get very excited when she sees other dogs, which can lead to pulling and some reactive behaviours, so dedicated training and support will help her build calmer leash skills. Indoors, she can be vocal at times, usually when she’s seeking attention or can’t see her people. While she does great sleeping in her crate overnight, she’s still working on daytime crating and being home alone and will benefit from continued support as she builds confidence here. With her affectionate nature, playful spirit, and love for people, Lola will thrive in a home ready to guide her energy and continue her training. If you’re looking for a fun, cuddly companion who brings both excitement and endless love, Lola might just be your perfect match! Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Lola? Story
I rescued Luffy from a vet clinic in Toronto, Ontario. I have raised him since he was a puppy and he has been with me for over 9 years. He overcame a leg injury inflicted upon him by his previous owner, and was subsequently abandoned. Despite that, he is incredibly friendly with people (including kids). He is very healthy and active for his age. In cool weather, he can go on 8 km walks with no issues.

AGE: 2 Years SEX: Female BREED: Husky Mix ENERGY LEVEL: High DOG FRIENDLY?: Maybe, dog selective and slow intros needed CAT FRIENDLY?: Maybe! KID FRIENDLY?: Older, dog-savvy kids only! Meet Autumn! Autumn is a playful, fun-loving girl who enjoys long walks and is always eager for new adventures. She loves soaking up belly rubs and is a huge fan of her toys - she’ll happily grab the nearest one to chew on and would be delighted if you tossed it for her to chase! She’s an active, joyful companion who brings enthusiasm and curiosity to her daily life. Autumn is a people-loving pup who does wonderfully meeting new humans. She welcomes guests into the home with ease, giving them space and respect while still offering warm, happy greetings. She’s very food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding, and puzzle toys are a big hit for keeping her mind busy. She is both house and crate trained and settles within minutes when left alone. Autumn currently lives in the city and does well in that environment, though she would also be happy in a quieter home with some extra space to run. She loves being near her people and, while not overly snuggly, enjoys affection on her own terms. When it comes to other dogs, Autumn is more selective and benefits from slow, calm introductions. She can be reactive toward dogs on leash and will need continued training and support in this area. While she and her fosters have worked on leash pulling and made good progress, building her confidence around other dogs will be an important next step. With patience, guidance, and consistency, Autumn has great potential to continue improving. If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic companion who’s ready to grow with the right support, Autumn might be the perfect match! Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Autumn? AGE: 2 Years SEX: Female BREED: Husky Mix ENERGY LEVEL: Medium DOG FRIENDLY?: Yep! CAT FRIENDLY?: Maybe! KID FRIENDLY?: Yep! Meet Misty! This loving, affectionate girl is a true people-lover who wins hearts everywhere she goes. She adores snuggling, gives plenty of kisses, and will gently paw your arm when she’s asking for more pets. Misty enjoys being outside exploring and taking in her surroundings, and she isn’t bothered by traffic or loud sounds. She has a playful side too; she likes to play wrestle and has a mischievous streak that sometimes includes stealing socks or slippers. Misty gets along well with dogs and has met children of various ages, doing beautifully with them thanks to her gentle nature. She could do okay living with a dog-savvy cat, though she has shown some interest in chasing them and may try to nip at their tails when they’re picked up, so thoughtful introductions and management would be important. She’s house trained, has mastered sit, and is doing great with her crate training - sleeping soundly through the night and settling after a brief whine when left alone. She loves everyone she meets and does well with visitors, happily soaking up attention. While she can sometimes get a little excited and jump up, she would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy kids. On walks, Misty does have a prey drive toward small animals and can be reactive toward other dogs on leash, so continued training and support will help her build calm, confident skills. She can also be a bit vocal at times. In multi-dog homes, it’s important that she has her own food, toys, and bed, as she can be possessive of her belongings. With structure, guidance, and plenty of affection, Misty will thrive. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who loves deeply and bonds closely with her people, Misty may be the perfect match! Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Misty?
