Story
Harlow is a 7.5yo female husky/malamute/German Shepard/American grey wolf mix. I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old as a gift. I have a 1yo son who is now very mobile and Harlow is not doing well with the adjustment. I keep them completely separated in my small apartment. Harlow isn’t happy, the baby isn’t happy. Harlow is on prescription food for her sensitive tummy. She is also on anxiety meds to help with her dog reactivity since we live in an apartment complex where she will occasionally see other dogs when out to go potty. She is the SWEETEST house dog. She has the temperament of a house cat. Wants to sleep all day and live her best lazy life. No other animals, no kids in her future home. She is house and crate trained. Please reach out with any questions. I am a very sad and scared dog mommy to have to go through this process and I will not let her get into the wrong hands. Thank you for reading!

Story
I'm Twister! I'm glad to meet you!! Like my name indicates, I'm a young man on the move - I'm a bit nervous about the great, big world we live in - I might be timid with other people and dogs at first - but once I meet you, I am ready to play! I'll need a home that's ready for an active dog, and I likely need kiddos that are 12 and older so I don't knock them over out of excitement. They don't know a lot about me at the shelter, but I am a playful guy who needs a human who's ready for fun, goofy craziness in their life. With some training, I'm your go-to for smiles and activities! Pick me!! Primary Color: White Weight: 47.2 Age: 1yrs 0mths 4wks

I have never met an activity I did not like! If you love exercise and keeping active, then we will be fast friends. I will go for a run in the morning, a hike in the afternoon, play fetch in the evening, and unwind with some play at home before bed - and I would love nothing more than to have someone who can keep up with me. It is important that I have an outlet for my boundless energy, so let us get together and explore the outdoors! Primary Color: White Weight: 73 Age: 1yrs 8mths 3wks

Story
My name is Aj, I am a 2 year old male American Husky. I came to the shelter as a stray so not much is known about my past. My favorite hobby is exploring! I am a curious, smart dog and I love to learn new things about the world around me. I would love to have a job to do or learn some new tricks to give my mind something to work on. I do not shy away from novel situations and if you can keep me mentally and physically stimulated, I will be your loving friend forever. Primary Color: White Weight: 57.2 Age: 2yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Luna is a 2 and a half year old, 48 pound, husky mix. She is wonderful girl with a perpetual smile! Some of her favorite things are toys, fetch, lounging on the couch and cuddling with her person. She loves to be brushed and belly rubs are the way to her heart. Luna has quite a bit of energy and is looking for a family who is active enough to give her the exercise she needs. Please be aware that all of our pets are in foster care in South Texas. They are transported to their new homes once adopted. We are 100% volunteer based, so it could take a day or 2 before we are able to process an appliaction. If you are interested in adopting an animal, please fill out our adoption application using the blue Apply To Adopt button above and someone will review it shortly!
