Story
**THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING! THIS IS NOT AN EPIC DOG. PLEASE CONTACT CAN.ADOPTIONS@YAHOO.COM IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.**   CHLOE'S DNA test came back 64% Husky, 24% Alaskan Malamute, 5% GSD and 4% Samoyed.  She is 45 pounds, and we believe about 4 years old.  She has a TYPICAL Husky personality!  Except for the occasional "zoomies", she is calm and reserved.  She is exceptionally smart, too.  Not sure I've heard of many Huskies wanting to play "fetch", but she LOVES LOVES LOVES the ball!   SOMEONE MUST LOVE HUSKIES AND THEIR PERSONALITY!!  PREVIOUS HUSKY OWNERSHIP REQUIRED.  If you've never had a Husky, you might not understand the complete love some of us have for the breed, even with their sometimes challenging traits..   Chloe's history is very heartbreaking and worse than most.  But like most dogs, her resilience has seen her through.  She has finished her heartworm treatment and will be available to adopt in the next month or so.   To learn more about Chloe and ask about adopting her, please email can.adoptions@yahoo.com.May 9, 2024, 9:17 pm

Story
Hi! my name is Sitka! I am a five year old, 53 lb Husky, and I was part of a big rescue done by Humane Tomorrow. As you can see, I'm very, very handsome! Since day one, I have been friendly with everyone I meet. I am a really chill dude that loves the company of people, being petted, hugged, kissed, and then running zoomies time! I am totally housebroken, and I get bonus points for being crate trained! I love to go on walks, and I will chase a ball, but I'm still working on the bringing the ball back thing. One of my most favorite things is my kong toy, stuffed with chicken or peanut butter, frozen, then given to me. Yummy, and it keeps me busy and entertained! I don't live with other dogs, but I try to play through the fence with the dog who lives next door. I do play a little rough, so I may annoy smaller or more laid back dogs. I should be ok with kids over the age of 10. My one bad habit is stealing socks. I don't chew them up, I just carry them to bed with me! If you would like to meet me, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Meet Kimber and Sky!Kimber and Sky are the sweetest pup pair that came to us as an owner surrender for circumstances out of their control. Sky is a 4-year-old Husky that is the best big brother to his sister Kimber, who is a 3-year-old lab mix. They both love to snuggle and their favorite game is to see if they can both fit on your lap! They are potty trained and excellent on the leash! Sky and Kimber are dog friendly, but Kimber does get nervous with other big dogs. They would do best if they are the only dogs in the home so they can have all of your love to themselves! These two pups are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face and they will make a fabulous addition to your home!Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry

She is young- about one year and a half and although a little shy she is very playful. We think she is a small Siberian Husky mix at around 40 pounds. She is crate trained and dog friendly. She practices her leash walking everyday and is working on more socialization. She is a sweet and cute dog that just needs someone willing to help her become the best she can be. Blue is smart and learns fast. Loves treats and we used them during training. She is located at the facility in Justin.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heart-worm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.

Story
Volunteer Notes: Denali is a petite guy for a husky and so handsome! He's only a little above knee high and maybe 46 lbs. He's a little bit timid but was easy to leash and very easy to walk. He walks right next to you unless there's a very interesting sniff he needs to check out. He didn't seem to know his sit but he was very gentle taking treats.
