Story
Meet Celeste, a brave and beautiful Husky mix with a heart as strong as her spirit. Celeste came to us as a young puppy after being hit by a car, leaving her in need of extensive FHO surgery to repair her hip. Thanks to dedicated veterinary care and the love and patience of her foster family, she made a full recovery and now moves with grace and confidence. Her resilience and gentle spirit are a true testament to her will to thrive, and she’s now ready to find the forever family she’s been waiting for. Celeste is a sweet, sensitive soul who can be shy and a little timid at first, especially in new environments or around unfamiliar people. But with patience and kindness, her walls come down, and she reveals her affectionate, loyal nature. Once she feels comfortable, she’ll lean into you for affection, give her famous snuggles, and shower you with gentle kisses. She forms deep bonds with those she trusts and thrives in calm, stable homes where she can relax and continue to blossom. She’s great with other dogs and finds comfort in canine companions who help her feel more at ease. Celeste is fully potty trained and enjoys spending time with her people, whether it’s a quiet evening together or a peaceful walk outside. Born in March 2025, she is currently in a foster home in Texas. Celeste is looking for a loving, patient family who will give her the time and security she needs to continue shining. When you earn her trust, you’ll gain a devoted companion who will fill your home with love and gratitude every single day. Story
Mia has a joyful personality that brings cheer to everyone she encounters. She can be a little shy until she gets to know you and then she loves you with all of her heart. She has calm, sweet personality, and is extremely gentle with all ages. Loves her belly rubs. Her playful nature makes her wonderful for a family dog as she is in love with children. While she likes men, she is a little more timid until she gets to know them. Once she realizes she is safe with you, she shares her entire soul and makes everyone feel loved and appears to be happy, smiling girl. Mia loves her stuffies and is a collector, she makes piles and moves them around. If she is allowed to take them outside, she will move them in piles from one location to another, potentially bury and unbury them and eventually ask if they can come back inside. She loves to play fetch and balls. She loves to play chase and then flop herself in front of you rolling over on her back to get another belly rub smiling at you with her expressive blue eyes. Mia is crate trained and walks easily on a leash. She would love the opportunity to take you on long walks or go hiking with you or even travel with you. She took a three week trip across country with her foster parents and was the perfect girl to travel with. While some of the new things she got to do were a little scary at first, all she needed was a little encouragement and then she did amazingly well with all of the strange surroundings and noises. She loves the forests and the beach. Mia came to her foster home as a quiet girl who appeared to have been abused by a prior owner, but she is rediscovering her voice and is learning to talk which is exciting She has been with a couple of male dogs in boarding prior to her foster. She has been introduced to other female dogs and appears to be very friendly, but is an only child at her foster mom’s home so she entertains herself in the large backyard with sticks and toys. She is fully vetted, approx. 56 lbs, completed heartworm treatment and ready for her next adventure. We truly believe she will be the perfect family dog or companion for anyone who wants company at home, traveling or for outdoor activities.

Story
"Meet Luna. Your one and only Luna is a beautiful 7 yo, 56 lbs, brilliant Siberian Husky/Husky mix who is looking for a new home in DFW, TX. Our rescue is helping the owner safely rehome her as soon as possible. She is a very people-oriented dog and would be great dog for someone with no other pets. She can be around other dogs in general settings, but in her private space she must be the only dog. The current owner has other dogs, which is why they are rehoming her. 'She is NOT an escape artist like most huskies. She is currently in a home with a low chain link fence and has not once tried to climb it. She loves to be loved on, especially belly rubs and bedtime snuggles. She loves, loves, loves riding in the car, and she is good on a leash. She has an adventurous spirit and can be a total couch potato. She is the perfect mix of both! She doesn't love the crate but will go in if told. However, she is not destructive if left out of the crate. Special needs: Luna has an auto-immune disorder that causes the skin on her nose to flare up, She is on two reasonably-priced daily pills that keep it under control. She takes the pills happily in a hot dog. Stats: Spayed Knows basic commands (great learner) Crate-trained, but looking for a home that does not require this. Leash-trained Potty-trained Current on vaccines Current on heartworm and flea prevention Heartworm Negative Last Dental (4/11/24) Questions? cowtownpets@gmail.com Adoption app: https://cowtownpets.org/online-adoption-app/ Adoption fee: $100

Story
Yuno is a sweet boy. At 1 year old, he is playful, curious, cuddly, and needs a home that can provide that. He is very energetic and does like to play. I believe a home with kids or someone who has a lot of energy to spend with this puppy will make all the difference. He is food motivated and with the right family who can train him with consistency, will see he loves to learn. He is neutered and chipped. I am looking for a home he will thrive in and be loved. He is also crate trained. I do need to find him a home soon. My older dog has health issues and I do as well. Please consider Yuno for your forever home.

Story
Aurora is a beautiful girl with a calm, observant nature who was quiet in her kennel and easy to leash. She willingly enters and exits her kennel and enjoys exploring her surroundings, often focusing on sniffing all the interesting smells during walks—sometimes keeping moderate tension on the leash but remaining manageable. Aurora tends to explore independently rather than actively seek attention, though she happily leans in for pets and scratches when offered. With a moderate energy level and relaxed body language, she engages steadily and settles with ease. She also has a bit of a discerning palate, thoughtfully evaluating treats before deciding they meet her standards.
