Story
"Meet Luna. Your one and only Luna is a beautiful 7 yo, 56 lbs, brilliant Siberian Husky/Husky mix who is looking for a new home in DFW, TX. Our rescue is helping the owner safely rehome her as soon as possible. She is a very people-oriented dog and would be great dog for someone with no other pets. She can be around other dogs in general settings, but in her private space she must be the only dog. The current owner has other dogs, which is why they are rehoming her. 'She is NOT an escape artist like most huskies. She is currently in a home with a low chain link fence and has not once tried to climb it. She loves to be loved on, especially belly rubs and bedtime snuggles. She loves, loves, loves riding in the car, and she is good on a leash. She has an adventurous spirit and can be a total couch potato. She is the perfect mix of both! She doesn't love the crate but will go in if told. However, she is not destructive if left out of the crate. Special needs: Luna has an auto-immune disorder that causes the skin on her nose to flare up, She is on two reasonably-priced daily pills that keep it under control. She takes the pills happily in a hot dog. Stats: Spayed Knows basic commands (great learner) Crate-trained, but looking for a home that does not require this. Leash-trained Potty-trained Current on vaccines Current on heartworm and flea prevention Heartworm Negative Last Dental (4/11/24) Questions? cowtownpets@gmail.com Adoption app: https://cowtownpets.org/online-adoption-app/ Adoption fee: $100

Story
Rory is a 1yr old Husky/Blue heeler/Austrailian shepherd with the energy and intelligence of all three. House and crate trained with a strong basics training. I saved her from having to go to a shelter but I live in an apartment with a busy schedule. She cannot thrive in a small space. She is reactive to unknown people and dogs until given the chance to get to know them then she plays with them just fine but she is very fearful due to lack of younger socialization. She needs someone that is patient and willing to work with her fearful reactivity and the space and time to allow her get out her boundless energy. She is loving and communicates very well. She has no aggression or bite history

Story
Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet Oso!    This handsome Husky mix is estimated to be between 2–3 years old and weighs in at a solid 75 pounds of love and loyalty. Heartworm negative and full of life, he’s taken everything in stride and still manages to flash a goofy grin through it all. Oso is incredibly dog-friendly—he loves pups big and small—and he hasn’t met a human he doesn’t want pets and attention from. He’s food-motivated (hello, training potential!) and has a sweet, silly personality that’s impossible not to love. He hasn’t quite figured out toys yet, but his playful spirit is just waiting to shine. We’re still learning how he does with cats, so stay tuned for updates! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a big heart and an even bigger personality, Oso might just be your perfect match.  He is fully vetted and ready for his new home.  He is kennel and potty trained.  For more information, please email steffeniegaprescue@gmail.comJuly 10, 2025, 2:41 pm
